Flip's Critique
X-Men The Last Stand

I was happy to boast that I saw this for free (unfortunately I had to pay the second time) The movie was both kinda good and misleading. Probably because of the trailer...I expected worldwide Armaggeddon, Sentinels, f***ing Gambit for Christ sake and much more, but my hopes failed. However the movie had heart, intense visual effects....and also Wolverine get on real bad.
I pondered for a while should I love this movie or hate it.
This movie was definetely better than the failure aka Fantastic Four and the "PG-13" version of Daredevil (yes there is an "R" reated version) Unfortunately this movie can't beat Spiderman, Spiderman 2 or Batman Begins. A few mistakes but a cool summer movie highly recommended for action fans.....but not an accurate comic book movie...very dissapointing.

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of action violence, some sexual content and language.

Mission: Impossible-3

I don't give a flying f*** what people say....I loved this movie alot. It had the intelligence and supurb action sequences to match (notably the helicopter chase and the bridge attack scene) Tom Cruise acted brilliantly....and yes he ran funny as usual. But most of the credit goes to Philip Seymor-Hoffman, who portrayed Owen Davies, one of the nastiest bad guys to date. The only problem I had with this movie was the ending...it was tied up too neatly...aka a typical Hollywood ending...but aside from that the film soars and in my watch it's the best summer film this year....well until Superman, Omen, Posiedon, and Miami Vice comes out that is!

Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of frenetic violence and menace, disturbing images and some sensuality.

i'm surprised that Xmen 3 got such a high score based on the flaws you mentioned.

if it's worse than Batman Begins and Spiderman 2 it gets a 4 out of 5? i think your rating system kinda screwed man. batman and spiderman were really good, but not perfect, as such a movie that not asgood should not be getting 4 out of 5
Listen dude....I had to drink plenty sake and sniff real coke before I made this decision

I waould give Both Spider-man movies and Batman Begins a perfect 5...I virtually and honestly had no problem with X-Men 3...it was a good "summer movie"...you know nice action...a naked Rebbeca Romijn...and the ultimate badmon wolverine...not to mention a sweet a$$ Callisto....BUT....it was not a good "comic book' movie! It was very inaccurate and I did not like the fact that the f***ing trailer mislead me.....Otherwise though the movie was'nt half bad....so my rating system isn't screwed....

Like I said though and I could give less of a f*** .....Mission: Impossible-3 is better....by far

Lets see Spider man -

 -boy biten by spider
-boy falls in love with girl
-boy saves girl frrm ridiculous villian( no disrespect to the comics but  in a movie the antagonist need to driven by more than a generic alter ego)

Spider man 2-

-boy loves girl
-boy saves girl from villian (while going through a crisis of fate but shockingly!!... figures out that he needs to be exactly as he was before? Why- he wittiness someone in danger.. yeah thats  Original!!

However in my opinion Batmen Begins may be the deepest superhero movie ever (yeah i know suerhero- deep??)
