What allyuh think about the Protective Services?

aye i think dey tryin dey best right now de police in ah mess right now and dey not properly equipped to hadle really serious situations i believe, i mehself apply for duty in de police service ah want to bring some change idmc, dey need better personnel with more qualifications computer skills lackin bad bad bad in dey, whew, what any body else think dey need to do to keep the country in ordah??!!

anyway from what i can tell the only qualifications to join de police service is to be dumb and forkin ugly... imagine i hadda grammatically correct the statement an officer took from me, simple spellin errors too eh... anyway u can't expect to change the running of an institution thas been that way for ages... cuz if ppl with small cxc passes didn't have the police service to turn too for employment we'd have more bandits and endless stone painters, i see it as another way the government provides employment to keep thier votes rollin in

With regards to the police service.... as with most of the problems in this country it always starts at the top!

I am willing to help any person or organisation (if they can afford to pay) but there are so many who refuse to listen.... and they pay a higher price later.

I think there are honest hard working men and women in our protective forces but its the bad ones that make them look completely inexonerably imcompetent. There is corruption at the top go straight down as there are in many organization. As far as change goes, ppl underestimate the voice and thoughts of the masses. If everyone came to the conclusion that something had to be done, it would be. Getting everyone to be like that is another matter.

as regards to the police force ..
i recently had a cousin in the services ..they were doing good went on a drug raid in laventille..and they didnt know who was shooting at who officers turn on officers, now he lives in london
its not per say the protective services but its the men that corrupt them a new honest officer could come in and a corrupt one could give him a taste of the bribe the money he starts to think different ... in the politics as well MANNING AND THEM lawddd i dont wanna start money corrupts you get a taste of power cash flowing what you think flesh is weak dont blame the protective services ....cause there are the tops that are corrupted and the small pocket officers takin bribes etc. politician....i cant name a honest hard working politician.

It have enough blame to go around for everybody.

blame slack parents for bringing up bad kids
blame locho men for not seeing about their seed, leaving single mothers to handle the scene.
blame wshb citizens for not being vigilant about crime and condemning criminal acts.
blame lack lustre policemen for not taking the fight to the criminal element, hard core.
blame de army for not wtfpwnin laventille and whichever other known hot areas.
blame de govt for not importing a squad of ninjas to kill the kidnappers / drug lords.

but to answer de question, I am very unimpressed with the protective services. Little or no confidence immc.

Well there might be a few things that can be implemented to start coping... like DOH SPEND 800 MILLION MOTHER &*(ING TAX PAYING TT DOLLARS ON A STADIUM. Second spend it on health care, infrustructure for farming and transport and on schools and education on a whole. Then institute a NO NONESENSE ZERO TOLERANCE policy on ALL crimes, from outstanding parking tickets to murders. In fact convicted murdurers get the choice between execution in a public square via hanging and disembowelment or behind closed doors torture and racking to death  I could get much more graphics but i'll refrain for the more tender hearted, weak stomached and young pplz in de forum.

Couldnt have said it better myself W1ntry my father does say shoot dem as questions later, say sorry if yuh need to, set a really hard example as the criminals will think twice if things really rough. and we should do like Rudy Guliani when yuh get charge give dem the full sentence no halfway thing or pardons or whatever full blow and as far as rapists are concerned kill dem aLLL!!!!
