Actually there is a new Pocket Monsters series that recently began in japan, whether or not it holds to the pokemon script is up in the air. i havent even concidered checking to see. feel free to check if you want its available on fansub.

my 9 yr old cousin who used to make my mother buff me fuh changing the channel when that was going on stop watching that and i doh mind lookin into that new series who know it might be interesting cause i was a big fan of Monster rancher when dey use to show it with that pathetic rip off digimon

Well, Pokemon isn't the same category of anime as the ones most here talk about, but that doesn't make it something to run from like the plague. Watch and see, in a few years you'll all be saying the same thing about Yu-Gi-Oh! It's just like Pokemon in that it's a hugely popular card game with a hugely popular "kids anime" to go along with it. If you get into something, don't suddenly turn your back on it because it's no longer the "in" thing, otherwise you never were a real fan of it to begin with. To answer the original question, local TV will probably take ages to air the new series "Pokemon Advanced" as WB is only going to start airing it next week, and it only just finished its first season in Japan.

QDizzle, I can answer your questions as lately I have been trying to catch a few of the new episodes and have checked out the outline of what has happened in Japan so far. Essentially, Misty left, much like Brock did for the Orange Islands bit. She made a brief appearance where she ditched that egg-demon Togepi and went home again though. Ash (followed shortly after by Brock) left for the region covered in the "Advance Generation" games and a new girl named "May" and her kid brother "Max" joined the group. It is supposedly a good series, with viewer ratings up after the horrific Johto saga, but I don't think they can really outdo the original seasons back when it was all the rage.

Not a thing laertes. It's just most of the "fans" of it were just in for the fad it seemed. So when it was no longer the "in thing" people dropped it like a hot potato.

it's about damn time they ended this.....how much times do we have to see team rocket try to steal pikachu? how muich times must we witness brock gettin rejected? How many times must Ash stare at misty cluelessly when it is OBVIOUS to everyone else she loves him? How many battles for this fool to become a Pokemon Master?

They should take advanced up to the end....then bring Ash back to the Pokemon League in Kanto where he will fight the elite 4, then gary and become a Pokemon Master.....FINALLY!

Sorry to burst your bubble but Gary's not a trainer anymore. Last week's ep he left to go off on his own, become a researcher and come back well, not even Oak knows when.

Your wish may be coming true though, Smurf. The new games return to the Kanto region, which means the anime will follow...and a return to Kanto most likely means the finale. About time, at over 300 episodes already it's dragging on kinda long.

Did Ash ever win in the Pokemon League? I'm pretty sure his first Pokemon League is he failed in a guy, also has like Pikachu and some pokemons almost the same Ash has.
