Doh forget that because you move with the WSAD thing the battles are more exicting that most especially with all d bloody effects that you get out of your moves. Check the video on d WOW thread and you go see how fast d battles are and how much you hadda move on your own.

And add to that tings like traps and dynamites

hmmm was that strider really neccessary in  roa?

any ways

i used to REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL BAD TALK LINEAGE!~!
hated the concept of it.
the stupidddddddddd insipid grind of leveling only by killing the same stupid insipid monsters over and over.

Especially the stupid spiders.

That was in the beta, recently ive been playing the game a bit and have taken a liking to dark elven spellcasters( SH RULESSSS W0000T!!)

but there are two many things to complain about in the game.

where as , just from the beta alone in  WoW ive been so thoroughly impressed!

i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeee my character! adore her!
(night elf rogues ruleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee w000t!!)

Lineage responded  to the threat of WoW by releasing some changes a short time after WoW beta ended.

Lol most noticeably to me, is the addition of

Welcome to the WORLD of Lineage 2
lol hilarious.

Anyways, i like the spells and so on in the game, but detest the UNREWARDING leveling process!

I mean, to kill the silly stupid orcs, i need my cool ass spells.
to get my cool ass spells i need to level
and sometimes i feel like id rather sit in school doin admaths  than to spend the requisite grinding dayssss leveling JUST TO GET FLIKKIN PKED BY STUPID R3FLEX OR STUPID DARKWIL!! ARRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGG

and then loooooose my exp and  delevel and drop my items.

i prefer the pvp system in WoW a heck of alot more than in l2.

i doh even think i need to say much more bout l2 vs WoW yes.

And all i hadda really say, is that it have certain men talkin bout if you doh have the time to dedicate to playin a mmorpg then yu shouldnt be playin them... and that same certain people buyin dey account on ebay and payin men to level de character for dem,...
nuff said right?

WoW has so much more depth than l2 that you would never want to let a man be de one to enjoy all the great times on yur character, to be de one to feel acomplished from even self a few hours in de game.

PLUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS YUH COULD RIDE AH FLIKKIN GRIFFITH IN WOW!
W00000T!!

- Once you're questing in a contested area on a PvP server (most areas over lvl 20), you'll constantly be fighting around members of the other side. Anyone can decide to wok anyone at any time.

 - Even if you're on a PvE server, you can attack opposing NPCs (guards, gurus, merchants) at anytime, which not only flags you for PvP and makes your name red...it also alerts every opposing faction member in the area that someone is attacking their citizens.

So as a Tauren I might kill an Alliance merchant in the forest for kicks or for loot. Within minutes, I can expect to see a dozen Alliance members swarming to see wtf is going on.

That can really put yuh in "running man" mode, and it's plenty fun.

 - Finally, you can raid villages and cities of the opposing faction at any time. You can do it yourself and dead, or you can do it with a group and totally dominate the village for a while. Kill all guards, merchants, questgivers, and the windrider master, leaving opposing players with no quick getaway and making the city a wasteland.

And it's not only fun to attack...it's fun to defend your village or city. The standoffs and battles can literally last for hours, with the lowbies inside watching from rooftops and the high-level players duking it out outside the village.
it sounds decent in cencept but wat is the reward or penality for pvp in wow none. which makes it all just  pointless. their is no rush  in it. the greatest  adrenaline rushes ive ever gotten was from playjng lineage 1 when im pking whte players for their gear. it is a rish i take for  a chance at a good drop.

and  majority of the social games do exatly wat wow  does quest hunt build chat but the differenmce between social and mmpog is penalty. wow veru much like a social game their are no panalty for death. eveyr 1 has same standing  one man can be ruch. one man can be poor. i mena ask shizz he saw the social game im refering too, i can show you pics of me with a 12 guage shot gun in my hand and my matrix  outfit on. this game had tons iof different thing to do. enter in races, star your own construction company, or your own programing company, any type of company you can think of irl this game had. it had casinos, strip clubs, it had live streaming satelite tv that you could install to your home, it had night clubs with live dj, it had crime.  i guarantee 100% that second life has  tons more stuff to do than wow or lineage will ever combined and to be hoenst i enjoyed it more than lineage 2. but  i know exactly wat it was. it was a relaxing laid back game it was a carebear game and im cool to admit it. if i ever quit l2 im proberly gonna play that game.

they buy a character cause usually its a reroll.  like some people make a lvl 75 character and they thne decide i want to make aperfect part so they ebay a lvl 50. and then some noobys cant take the stress and ebay a character but they play like 24/7 on it.

You on Aggrammar or are you on one of the big-name servers that always crashing?

I was getting disconnects on Tuesday..., but it was TSTT side, not WoW side.

bushman you eh answering the question.

If the L2 population so "hardcore", why it have so many players buying characters, money and items?

If they so hardcore they should "work" for it themselves.

And why do so many use bots? Shouldn't they be playing 24/7?

You kno what
Maybe you all should play Ultima Online.. :D

That game r0x the s0X

Well... never played on the actual server but only on the buggy player run ones :(
So i've never seen the true upside/downside to the game.....

But its really fun :P
Wish i could play it someday.....

once and ebayed character is found out, you are black listed by a lot of guilds, there are still many people some  quite a few of the respected guilds that didnt ebay etc.

And botters once discovered get killed by legit players.

There is a clan called everRED dedictaed to killing all farmers botters etc. They are perma chatic characters  with white (neutral support healers etc that literally scour the world for peopl elike that and kill them.

Ramp, I doh know how they find out about E-Bayed characters, but it's easy to find a bot. You just need to look at its behavior and/or try to communicate.

Most times when a character is sold, its a high level and its hard to be high level (because you  need to group to be effective) and not  be known.

When one acvcount is bought, people know, there are folks that look at ebay as well, maybe a bit overdone but its done.

Though there ws this one time someone was selling an account and said that they would give the buyer all the info they need to pass off as the original owner

Just wanna say this: WoW is probably the shittiest mmorpg. dont get me wrong , lots of players on it (mostly noobs who like flashy things) but based on what i've played, its too damn short. Now FFXI , is prob the best mmorpg i've played and still am playing. nuff said
