GUILD WARS RELEASED YESTERDAY

Got my mother to get me a collectors edition copy, shes in new york.
So i provided her with multiple eb games locations through out the city. (thanks mapquest)

As soon as it arrives saturday afternoon, much sweatage will ensue.

And so help me God if tstt mess up my dsl saturday....

Anyways. Who else order there copies?

I know Baego and Sensei getting copies as well.

ok for an update
got my guild wars saturday

been sweating it ever since. Didnt get all my collectors items that i was supposed to get, but i believe that was my moms fault for not knowing to collect it arggg.

ABSOLUTELY NO LAG EVEN THOUGH ALL THE WORLD DISTRICTS ARE FULL.
first time i logged on, i was sent to district 144 and had no lag at all. wonderful, llots and lots of people everywhere i go.

Its alot different from the beta but the stuff that not available from beta seems to be saved for later in the game.

You no longer can choose your secondary race right off the bat, you have to go on quests to decide which secondary you want.

I started off with an elementalist necro like i did in beta (Crixxtachi).
Then i made a female archer monk (SOOOOO FINE OMG!!) plays really nice. i already have a level 6 pet tiger.

Also new, they have seperated your character creation into two types.
Role playing, which is the standard story mode characters that can also enter the pvp arenas.

Secondly is the pvp only character which yu get to customize very very very meticulously.
The look of the character is widely customizable.
You get access to all the skills and spells and get to assign your skill points how ever you like right off the bat.

They provide character templates for pvp characters,( generally what works best) or you can start from scratch doing your own thing.

Only gripe so far is that you can only make 4 characters at a time.
I already made three before i realised that so bleh.
You can delete and recreate at a moments notice though.

On my first big mission , it felt like if it was a part of lotr battle for middle earth, lots of enemies lots of battling, hen cinematics get tossed into the middle of the fight , then the next few seconds your in the middle of the fight that is in the cinematic.
Too sic.

its no lagg cause guild wars is not a mmpog. its more like diablo, when you leave your spawn thingy or whatever you make your own connection.. They cant charge monthly fees because they dont have to have huge server up ect ect. expect alot of cheating in this game in the months to come. Reason i dont like it is the factor that if you quit for some months and return you have to pay for whatever major expansions came about, and well it isnt massive.

i dunno about you but i like the idea of going on quests without having to worry about kill stealing etc.

First of all, you NEVER HAVEEE to pay for a guildwars update.
If yu stop now and return in 7 months and an update is released
you can CHOOSE to get the update or not, but even if yu DO NOT PURCHASE THE UPDATE
YOU WILL STILL BE ABLE TO CONTINUE PLAYING THE GAME FREE AND WITH NO CONSEQUENCE!!!!.

The updates provide added content (weapons, armor, maps, so and so forth) but not having the upgrades does not deminish your playing experience, because they will continue to develop the maps and the content for the non upgraded people.

Second of your lies is the belief that they dont have large servers hosting large maps and large amounts of people thas why there is no lag.
BOLLOCKS!!
Buy and play de mc ting or even read about it on the guildwars page before yu make such asanine accusations.

THe game is divided into two parts, role playing and pvp only.

The PvP only world exist in a lineage like environment where yu have scores of people on several maps across the world, pvping in group arenas or just massive FFA style pvps.

YU officially are a mook for dissing guild wars like that with out having a flikkin shred of knowledge on the game.

Go back and ebay yuh lineage or something.

Put down lineage he did for the day, sweat indeed he did, had me on de mc phone explainin every new and uber thing he found out about, in love with his character he is.

Man spend bout 15 minutes just dancing with a group of people , i stand up laffin.

Then i jump een with my female elemantalist (shes now an elementalist mesmer)_( Mesmers realllllllll stinkin bad wayyy). Start to poddong ah bess flex with my elementalist.

On my First Character , iam going to create the guild.

Should it be a Gatt Guild or Carigamers guild??

it is not a matter of whether you will or will not purchase future upgrades for Guild Wars.

IT IS THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO.

Once you've bought the game, that is it...suhuweat!!!!

No monthly fees, no credit card bachanal, nada.

It can be just as hard core without drainin dollars out of your pocket and into theirs every month.

Coming from the makers of Starcraft, you can't call Guild Wars anything but hard core.

yes i can call it not hard core, cause thats what it is exactly. its made to appeal to the american market wher ethey want eveyrthing nowfor now and cheap. unlike asian countris where anything they do the puty 120% into it and they arent lazy noobs. granted yes noobies are gamers too but dont try to put guild wars or WORLD OF WOMEN in the class of Lineage 2 it was made by 2 totally different cultures. the day Guild WARS has over 5million people playing thne gimmie a hollar. But like i said its 2 totally different cultures not making it bad but different. you give WOW or ghuild wars to a ASIAN hell be done the game within a week. Thier was a quest with orginal Lineage 1 that gameout a UBER sword called dragon slayer. the quest was oo hard the makes though it would taje a year to get done. when it was released a chinese clan completed it within 6 weeks.

Som epople luv shit handed to them so they cna say OOOO look at me im UBER i can PWN you. me i like to work hard like a mofo for shit and then really be LEET not have eveyr otehr jackass on the same playing field as me, if i want that ill play a FPS

You want play time to "save" you from a beating.

True hard core gamers want "skill" to save them from a beating.

If you come into SoF2, you get the same gun, the same ammo, the same armor as I.

If you win or lose, comes right down to how skillful you are at the game.

In lineage 2, if you are playing 10 hours a day and I can only muster about 2 hours due to work and wife constraints is serious LIXXXXXX IMMC.

A noob won't stand a chance...regardless of how skillful he is.

You would simply win because you have more spare time on your hands and racked up more levels and equipment.

That was the formula of rpgs online because they WANT you to play month after month to keep that lead and PAY them their monthly fee.

Enter Guild Wars. Online RPG that appeals more to the hard core skillful gamer than the Hard Core Freetime laiden gamer.

You could sweat out the story mode, reach level 20 and den war with men who been there a year prior and still stand a chance to win. Leaving enough time to kiss the wife and work a day job.

The secret? No monthly fee and clever use of threads.

That is two totally different kinda hard core.

One is time consuming, the other is based around skill.
