chicken you and the n00b are das. how can you compare these 2 movies in the first place? a bloody poll on the issue? come on what the heck are you trying to prove? these are 2 completely different movies.
hello is it the movies you're talking about? why is it in the wrong place? next time you go on an arbitrary rant please make sure to put the thread in the right place.  i think you're old enough to read first.

as for taste - i enjoyed both. i don't know how one can compare an epic  novel to a movie trilogy. the only thing they have in common is that they're both trilogies and the agent smith/elrond deal.

LOl at elrond.... To be honest with you anything that you can be  buy a movie ticket to can be compared.. If i had 45 dollars and  i had to choose which  series i was going to watch i would say you can say which one is worth the damm  45 dollars so as i said before Matrix is not  worth it ... THey killed my love for it with the Reloaded but i must say i like it still but my love for it has weakened

Man, THIS is utter bullS...You CANNOT compare a grapically rendered storyline with a WRITTEN, PUBLISHED Classic storyline, which made some DAMN good movies might I add. MAtrix has NOTHING to go against LOTR-Each is a story all its own, but LOTR has the leading with its authorisation and publishment-LOTR been making $$ LONG before the Wachowski brothers even THINK about Matric. They was probably still in MC diapers, if not born yet when Tolkien slaved over his tyypewriter, slapping out page after page of PURE, Unrelented literary genius. All who say 'AYe look at dat nuh, Matrix baddd eh?' - You all just grew up with one SERIOUS lack of literature as children and feed off the lowly screen rendered garbage they try to call trilogies nowadays. No I have NOTHING against Matrix whatsoever, it has a great plot and a moving storyline-I just have a problem with the one track minded n00b's who seem to think Matrix is golden and great. PHOOEY!! Get ya'll arses off the couch and head for the bookstore-you'll find a lot more adventure int ehre than you'll EVER find on a movie screen. Talk done. This thread is absolute gonads. Find something better to talk about-but apparantly a lack of intelligent convo is prevalent here nowadays...

speaking about great literary treasures
i challenge anyone to find the first 4 books in the ENDER SAGA
ie Enders Game , Speaker For The Dead, Xenocide and Children Of The Mind all by the great Orson Scott Card
i hear they are going to make Ender's Game into a moive
now that is something to watch

I want to see the Matix become as academically realized as LOTR, which is on many a booklist.

Sorry W brothers, but compared to a literary master like Tolkien, your writing is shiest.
