Nope... at least i don't think so.. my bro has it and it works fine, he has one from logitech
The only problem with it really is that the mouse is pretty heavy cuz of the batteries =/ So it kinda sux especially in fps lol

Nope, I have wireless keybord and mouse, and there is no lag, just make sure the signal reciver thingy is not in anykina odd position to block siginal, and make sure to have back up batteries...it does real suck azz when you playing a dread sweat, and de battries in your mouse die, and you hadda run down the road to get new ones.

with the more recent devices, lag should not be "much" of a problem.

If you are a twitch gamer (ie: you spin 270 degrees in quake 3 and stuff like that with your mouse set on uber high sensitivity) then stay away from wireless.

If you're an average gamer, it won't be noticeably slower than the USB variant. Again, this is for the more recent devices using RF. Forget about the old school infrared wireless stuff. They SUCK.

Logitech is THE brand. Anything less, is uncivilized.

Big point by Janus on the weight.

That is the reason I got the Mx500 USB logitech mouse instead of the MX700 Wireless.

They look identical but the Mx500 is significantly lighter since it carries no batteries. Important for gaming!

yeah i remember my wireless mouse...batteries was real pressure yes.

and it was indeed heavy, the hard part was having to make a quick movement and having to put on extra force on the mouse to get back a center position yes. it does take different force to move it from right or left to center...really bad for fps gaming, you does feel like you hadda drag the piece of crap yes

Why not have your cake AND eat it too?  I am currently using the Logitech MX Duo (which includes the wireless MX700 optical mouse, and wireless keyboard), and I must say, the gaming response is fantastic.  I'm playing Doom 3, Far Cry, Halo, Half-Life2, UT2004, Call Of Duty, with no lag problems whatsoever.  I'm also using them with rechargeable NiMh batteries.  The ones I put in the keyboard have been in there since November, and yes, I play PC games a LOT, and the mouse has its own recharging cradle.
Go with the MX Duo, you won't regret it
