The Undead are human size, and the Trolls are great rogues.

Although they're self-proclaimed MASTERS OF STEALTH, Taurens don't have access to rogue class.

edit: Saw an Orc rogue for the first time last night.

Bwtmc...Night Elves are taller than Trolls and Undead! And Orcs!

Btw...size has nothing to do with it. Even though the Taurens take much slower steps than the other, smaller races, their strides are much longer. All the races have equally fast running speed. Only certain spells/talents increae the speed.

My shaman can turn into a Ghost Wolf for 40% increased speed...faster than most NPCs...perfect for a quick getaway.
Hunters get aspect of the Pack and Aspect of the Cheetah.

only night elf druids are very tall, the rest are small, human size ish.

it would be hard to see soemthing as big as a tauren in stealth mode.

its simply to hard to sneak up to someone when yur that big.

ive seen a dwarf rouge before and thats really nasty. extremly hard to detect while in camo.

elves have some sweet speed , strength and nature moves.

i really really enjoy the elves buh i may be pursuaded to check out a undead rogue if they have them.

btw

what skills have yall beein investing in , such as engineering and clothes making and the likes.

iam into alchemy and engineering as well as another skill that goes well with my assasination talents.

Didn't know the Druids were taller...any explanation for that? Sounds interesting.

I'm a skinner and leatherworker. I make most of my own armor (a few levels ago I outfitted myself from top to toe) and skin every beast I kill. Seemed to make the most sense considering the fact that my class only wears leather till lvl 40.

I give away a lot of what I make and sell some too. It's becoming tougher to level up the skill though...I'm killing less beasts and more humanoids these last few levels.

Mengsk is a miner/engineer, and Strongy is the same.

Just picked up a nice two gold in the Auction House...do you use the Auction House?

no didnt know there was an auction house either.

I use my alchemy for healing potions and for poisons.
ONe of my class skills is poison so this is a perfect fit.

Second skill is engineering, since i cant have a pet of my own, iam going to build one, i have the schematics for building a mechanical squirrell.
sounds kool as foak.

But mining will be real cool too, ive seen gold mines at the bottom of the little lakes and ponds.

Why don't you have herbalism as your other skill?

That way you can pick the plants you need to mix with alchemy and make your poisons.

As for the Auction House...brother man.

You can sell your stuff in the Auction House for 75%-250% more than you can sell it to the vendors for. Sometimes even more than that!

It's basically a large hall with several attendants. You walk up to one and open your auction. You place the items(s) you wish to sell in a slot, and are given a suggested retail price to sell it at. You can either sell it at that price, or higher or lower depending on the demand for it at that point. People then pass by during the day and bid for it. Highest bid at the end of 8, 12, or 24 hours (depending on what time you choose) wins, and the money is mailed to you.

You're required to make a deposit (probably 10% of what the item will sell for) when you open the auction. If no one buys, you lose the deposit. If someone buys, you get it back, but the AH takes a small percentage of the sale.

You can also add Buy Out prices to the items, so that if someone doesn't want to bid/wait and just wants to buy it now fuh now, they can. Buy Out prices are usually much higher than bid prices.

When your item is sold you get a private chat message notifying you of the sale and you can pick up the money in your nearest mailbox. Unsold items are also returned via mail.

I think the Alliance AH is at the main Human city. It's also a great place to buy stuff.

It's simple (simpler than I make it sound I guess) and fun to use...and very profitable.

I suggest one of two things:

Either learn Herbalism to supply your alchemy, or use the Auction House to sell what you find via mining.

Your choice really. The economy is going to experience a massive surge in the demand for minerals when the Battlegrounds Siege Weapons are made available for construction in a few months/weeks. So it might be in your best interest to have a high level of mining to supply high level minerals to your Guild or the AH.

On the other hand, supplying your own materials for your crafting skill is the best way to level it fast. That's why I level so ast in Leatherworking...I use the skins I get with my Skinning skill.

Oh yeah, a mechanical squirrel is useless yuh know...it doesn't actually attack. It just seems to follow you around. You can buy one at the AH incidentally. Mengsk made one for me after I sent him the schematics that I found in a drop.

Don't count on it...it's two different types of games. Yuh never have more than about 200 people on any single GW trade-town server, while yuh have anywhere between 1500-4000 people on a WoW server.

The game are very different in terms of how they work...GW is more instanced while WoW is more persistent.

But yuh can still try it out.

battle seige gear?
wow(exclamation too)

ive been out of the game for too long yes.

I need to get back in but once again, ide definately want to be my night elf rougue and i guess i can also make a undead rogue as my alt.

so while my elf is sleeping, i can be sweating the other and vice versa.

i got the engineering because of the crafting and minig abilities.

When i saw the gold mines at the bottom of lakes i thought hmm, thats a good way to get money
since money is so hard to come by.

the auction house looks great.
And i like yur suggestion of mining for the clan.

If i make the undead character, can i join your clan and minee for it?

You can definitely join the clan I'm in.

Money isn't much of a problem later on.

The most money you'll need is 100 gold at lvl 40 to buy your mount. That's what I'm saving up for currently.

Whoever reads this thread and intends to buy this game, whatever yuh do, DON'T join a high population server.

The game is going through some serious growing pains, and the more popular high population servers are becoming almost unplayable. You actually have to wait in queues to get in and play...something I've never had to do on my server.

Also, those high pop servers go down for weekly maintenance longer than normal servers.

So beware.

It's just like Lineage.

Just drag it to whatever machine, and it will prompt for a username and password everytime it's started.

Anyone can play on any machine once they have an account and password.

I play on Aggramar. It's a low-medium population server. We doh get much lag, no shutdowns so far, and we definitely never have to wait in queue.

But this issue apparently gettin very serious for the high-population servers.

(Again I warn: Stay away from those servers!)

Kinda sad to see this level of backlash...Blizzard really wasn't prepared for the game's level of success.

Basically the game was unplayable in the highest population servers in days 2-5 after the launch.

Blizzard doubled the server capacity when they realised that the game was selling far beyond what they expected, and they've stopped selling it for the last month or so to prevent even more pile-up.

There have been lag, shutdown, and character retrieval issues on the most heavily populated servers since day 1.

Servers like mine have been pain-free.
