Finally a game worth playing. This going to be soo good. If they delay it then god help them because i will bomb the crap out of them till they agree to release it on time

plays smooth on hardware doom III would choke to death, and looks prettier at the same time ..... gameplay as good as we all hoped, only gripe may be the registration requiered to play it .... it will definately make it hard for *cough* entreprenuers *cough* to make ' legally challenged' copies of the game for all of us to enjoy .

funny .... i fried my good video card sunday night , and no one wants to lend me a floppy drive so i can fix it .....

i played it all time this morning. simply de best game ever

, i give it 11/10. the game rocks! i been playing it all mc morning, i only stop playing it at this point in time because i real hungry. aint eat no breakfast or lunch because of it

yeah it worth it 100%. them reviews i read it give do the game justice man. 11/10!

in my life as a rampage i've seen great games. really impressive games...but then hl2 came along and made them look shitty. now my standards of a good game gone through de roof. i can no longer even look at doom3 without steupsing

they aint give it enough points man. ign give it 9.7. it shoulda give it 11.5/10. and it lose .5 because it wasnt made by carmack. automatic .5 deduction in its mc

de game really bad though, best game i ever play. no exagerations, no lies...it is de best.

Graphics are simply amazing...the facial animations are breathtaking...

It's fascinating how well the Source engine scales for hardware...I'm playing it on an FX5200 in the office and it looks breathtaking...can't wait to give it a go on my 9700pro at home

Not only are the visuals right up there but there's no jerkiness whatsoever! Smooth framerates iymc.

A job well done I say to Valve et al.

summary of half life II greatness :
Xtreme FPS : plays good on all hardware , will run on a TNT 16mb.
Xtreme physics : integrated into gameplay, not just window dressing
Xtreme graphics : facial animations, DR lighting, pixel shaders etc. etc.

Can't wait to play it on my rig , and bechmark it, and mess around in the SDK.....

I somehow doubt that...care to share the link where someone has proof of it running on a 16MB TNT? I'd try it myself but it's a little too much hassle to go dig up my old Riva TNT card and pray that it works in my current pc still...

According to gamespot.com, it requires a minimum of 32MB for the video gfx... http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/halflife2/techinfo.html
