why does the cable have to be so troublesome?
i kno we get cable relatively cheap down here but is that any excuse?
is always some problem!

why do the TNT channels always show this kinda dark way?i try watchin a james bond d other night and me eh kno if roger moore was black in de 70's orwhat? boy he lean in to kiss a gurl and i swear de gyul ent kno wais a dentist yet fuss she teeth lookin rotten?
why when i try to watch a lil wrestlin i hadda have closed captionin on? i not deaf, but up to now i cyant hear damm ting.

why we doh have fox? actually i could rest dat question for now...why we doh have TNN or TVL in trinidad? wham we not good enough or wha? my fadda is a drug dealer orwha his cash dirty or somting?

so why we must watch latin cartoon network? to make dat matter worse everytime i watchin dat channell it always hummin for no reason

wha bout starz? starz always have another station playin in de background so in odder words if rain fallin 4get it watch sumtin else cause u cannot raise d volume too high!

I think SKY is something like DirectTV.
I keep hearing about it....maybe I'll sell the idea to my dad, and see how it goes.

On topic now, it's really not unusual to hear of somebody out there having a gripe with CCTT these days. The quality of service has really been bad as of late, especially when it comes to the RAW broadcast. On that note, though, I don't really care anymore...WWE just dropped freaking GAIL KIM. That is a definite NO-NO, in my book. And that, coupled with the fact that RAW's been getting really, REALLY stale has juts plain stopped me from watching with fervoured interest.


Oh, and to answer your questions, wesleigh...

1. Maybe somebody performed a fatality in the background? (Sorry....bad joke. Couldn't resist.)

2. Two words: PIRATE SIGNAL. To satsify us wrestling buffs and bring us wrestling since the satellite move by TNN, CCTT had to do something....even if it meant sacrificing quality in the process. Then again, given the fact that wrestlers are dropping off of that roster like flies....do we want to watch again?

3. That's easy. Because CCTT sucks.
DirectTV has those channels you named.

4. From what I hear, this Cartoon Network's better, with the exception that anime like Knights of the Zodiac is in Spanish, which is VERY lame.

fact is it comes down to a case of monopoly, they have control, so it's our A$$es in  the wringer. we have to put up with the shoddy service and poor products cause to the average guy, there ain't anything else

Direct TV sucks ppl, i have it yes it has the channel but all are in SPANISH...there are a lot of good station just all in spanish or portugese before it was more english but now almost everything is pure spanish and if u want 2 see the good crap in english u got 2 pay extra 4 that...,in the end they both suck and when rain falls heavily u lose the signal ok so unless u want 2 brush up on some converstional spanish...stick with what u got :slasher:

wesleigh the cable not really relatively cheap.The ppl in America have digital cable(not really) and plus the thiefing the signal.I think in the long run it might be better to buy a satelite like in Santa Rosa.

As a friend of mine from Canada (this may not be the best eg as something like 70% of their stations by law must be canadian channels) said that the channels we have are premium channels and not very often even in NY do u get as many movie, sport, documentary and lifestyle channels in one package without extra costs. So in short we have it kinda good, that said I also think that the SERVICe sucks, but hey as someone said PIRATE signal and thing. Thing is ppl I rem when I had no cable and I started complaining to my parents when my neighbours got cable, now we complain that the cable not good enough. I see a pattern here ppl. When I was younger and had no cable, no gaming rig, no cell phone life was GREAT, I was out in the roads riding my bike, running my neighbourhood and having healthy fun. So hows about we stop complaining about the 'luxuries' of life and how they suck and just do something different to pass that time in a better way!

I heard TSTT is looking into setting up a cable TV service. Wonder how that would turn out? As it is right now I wish I still had Rainbow Cable from back in d days(best cable company in the country) it always had something good to watch and we had all the best channels. Now I hardly find myself watching TV, I think this is the part where I thank the superior one for technology in the way of the personal computer.

Other than that, if TSTT does setup cable tv services I can only hope it's legit so we can get good quality, decent cable tv programming. I'm also gonna make a valid presumption here and also say that I think they're going into this industry to compete in the cable internet services as well. If it's reasonable I'll get that to I hope they sell it as a package or something, but I'm thinking to far ahead.

i too have one my my boxes with that  L-01 crap. it getting out of hand if its not the instances where we lose channels for a while ( yeah we get downgraded from time to time ) its the outages. now i will admit that it is better than sky ( i had it when i was in england ) the audio quality is HORRIBLE!!!!!! now i guess since we have no other choice but CCTT i guess all i can do is shut up.

as for questions about Cartoon network. years back Turner entertainment told transcable and othe stations that it was illegal to carry the american feed since we arent in the american region. so we most of tuners stations ( tnt, tbs, nick & CN ) are the chile feed. that cant be fixed. i think there are some restrictions on cnn as well.

what i wanted to know was about UPN. WTF and they give yuh the stupidey answer that they out of the satililite range ( i suppose trinidad shift sometime ago)

Put ur TV on channel 2(Barker) and they have instructions on what to do,for those of you who dont know yet.If u cah get barker,then take out d mc cable box and put the cable directly into the tv

As if things wern't bad enough the cable box giving alot of trouble. The controls were not manipulating the box accordingly and was seemed to be an error message was displayed on the panel. The message was L-01? Anyway i got a new one and I hope that there isn't a repeat of that again.

as i said before when you have a throat hold on the market people just have to accept the crap that's handed out to them. we as a society don't stand up for our rights, people will bitch and bitch but when the time comes for us to take a stand we back down. If something like this happened in the us people would boycott it and force the issues to be addressed
