What sucks especially though is when u not working for much, and when u actually get paid, so much u never see at the end of the day because of taxes etc...

hoss, I could not agree with you more.

I just work 48 hours in de last 72 hours.

Ultra hard work immc.

The pay ain't bad but I wish I could retire and sweat immc.

Is like get up in de morning, work, come home, sh1t, shower, shave, sleep.

Wash rinse repeat.

I get maybe two hours a day to do anything I really want.

Only the weekends you could really live your life.

That is the price for having to work for money and it sucks!!

Money is out there, but we don't want it. Therefore, we don't have it. That old addage of, "Education is the KEY!" is so true. But not in the way our parents interpret it for us. School does not or will not ever be a perfect equivalent to success. Schooling is the first and easiest step on the path to financial success. Learn all you can, abuse school for everything you can, rape it for it's knowledge. Then take that knowledge and exploit it in the real world to acquire more knowledge.

The first thing that you should seek out, is the real world definitions of the terms "liability" and "asset". Take my advice, do not ask an accountant, and do not look in the dictionary. They will give you the figurative meanings of these two words. You need to know what they mean in real life. Then you begin to understand what money truly is, and how to make it work for you, instead of you working for "it".

A most excellent contribution camrE.  The key to actually being able to live your life instead of just existing within it is Passive Income.

it only hard to get a job if you stick with respect to education, some of us have that 'black boy' mentality that makes us feel we cannot take a jb because it is 'beneath' us, that kinda attitude will never work in this life. s for all the would be computer technicians out there getting job trouble, time to branch off.
I agree that Education is a key element in career development.  But if you look at the number of persons who have Dip's, BA's, BSc's, MBA's and other professional qualifications, there are not enough "paying" jobs for most of these ppl.  The majority of ppl, even though they may have both the education and experience, are not in a job that represents this.  Many ppl have to settle for less just to make ends meet.

The major factor to success is 'Self'.  'Self' is basically what you percieve yourself to be.  It encompases but is not limited to Personality, Ambition, Desire, Awareness, Intelect and Deductive Reasoning.  If you believe you are a success you will be!  If you keep telling yourself that you will be a success then, on occasion, you may almost get there!

The richest people are the cleverest people. Let’s look at the easiest example. Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft, and Richest Man in the world for seven consecutive years. The government tried to disassemble his company, but to no avail. Why he ended up being the richest man in the world? Because he is clever, not even ingeniously clever, but simply clever, like you or me.

Bill dropped out of Harvard after one year of college.

Bill and his homeboy were into computers, common nerds. Bill started this company, software; we’re talking out of the garage here. He set up a meeting with IBM, biggest computer company at the time. He told IBM he had an Operating system that he wanted to license them. He made it sound as appealing as can be.

IBM agreed. Leaving the offices of IBM his homie/business partner looked at him like he was crazy, “what operating system? What are you talking about?” He said.

Bill replied, “Didn’t you say your friend wrote his own disc based operating system?”

Bill went to the guy who wrote the OS and bought it for $50.00. yes fifty dollars. He licensed it to IBM and called it DOS.”

The rest is history. Money is out there. Do you really want it?

But, as with all endeavours, to achieve your goal sacrifices must be made.  The pursuit of money is no different.  You will be required to make sacrifices!  Of this you can be sure!  It is up to you to determine your how much you are willing to sacrifice to achieve wealth.
The type and level of sacrifice will be different for everyone.  However here are some examples;
Time:  Are you willing to work 20 hrs a day including weekends?
Sleep:  See Time!
Family:  Are you willing to lose your quality time with spouse and children?
Friends:  Are you willing to give up close friends?
Health:  Are you willing to put your body under continuous mental and physical strain?
Integrity:  Are you willing to look the other way?
Humanity:  Are you willing trample those you see as being in your way?  Are you willing to abuse those who are under your employ just to make an extra buck?

Again, those are just example of sacrifices....although Humanity (Compassion) is a sacrifice which too many Business Persons have made.  Although for some of them it seems there was no sacrifice to begin with!

All good points, my two cents is it is sometimes better to make less doing something you like than to make more doing something u hate. Ppl have killed themselve cause they were not happy with their job, their life even with finanical security. Others have lived very fulfilling lives doing what they love, every now and again doing something u love brings in some serious money but that is rare. I say if you are willing to sacrifice it all for money, you've sold ur soul, if you want to be happy in life find your place and make the most of it. I have and do watch my father drive to and from work each day for years and I for one could not do what he does, you lose hald ur life just travelling that DAMN CONGESTED HIGHWAY....

I don't want to spend the rest of my life in the persuite of monetary satisfaction, I will make my sacrifices but at the end of the day my health, family, friends and own mental stability rule. Besides in this country hard work sometimes will take u only so far... is who yuh KNOW aka 'friends' or who yuh related to... 'family' that can work wonders for you. Look at all them government ministers, passing this and that bill cause they have some partner in this business or he in charge of that company etc... Look at bu$h and his connections to the B1n Ladd3n family. Yeah daz it for now....
