Playing Divx on yuh PS2

I didnt know that yuh could play divx movies on yuh Ps2. Man i dwn this player from PS2 reality (http://www.techtree.com/techtree/jsp/showstory.jsp?storyid=57797)

And movies showing real good, just takes a while to boot though is yuh using the swapin method.

No more of using that clumsy tv out function on mi graphics card

Yuh need a mod chip, and i dont think it will work on the earlier versions of ps2

it works on the dream cast... used to be an excellent way to watch movies.

Some new dvd players on the market are actually starting to come with divx mpeg4 playback features but I think the xbox does the best job of playing all kinds of media files. Imagine all the anime u can watch on that xbox

Yep i got the Philips DVP 642 (plays just about any mp4 format) but allyuh hijacking the man thread!

There is a modchip that has these features built in.  If you have the HDD for the PS2 you can even load linux and run 'any' xvid player from there.
