Nero 6 Ultra on XP SP2

Hey guys, I, being a long time supporter & user of Nero have hit a snag. I know alot of you guys have gone to Service Pack 2 for WIndows XP. I have been using Nero 6.3.1.25 Ultra edition for a while on ym machine, untill one day, it just stopped working. I went to Microsoft's website, and they said that Nero 6 Ultra would have some compatibility issues. WHen I visited Nero's site, they said 6.3.1.25 would work cuz the fixed some XPSP2 compatibility issue. One of my friends who has XP SP2 uses a totally different Nero, Nero 6 Enterprise edition. I was wondering if any of you guys could she light on this Nero dilemma and let me know waht I can do puhlease!!!!

That's pretty strange...I made the move to SP2 and was using Nero 6.3.1.20 without any probs....then when .25 came out I upgraded to that and still no issues...?

I just checked the Nero website and found this --> http://www.ahead.de/en/27988.html

Which explains why I had no problems with 6.3.1.20 ...

You could also try the recently announced Nero 6 Reloaded (how corny is that name? ) and see if it fixes the prob...

Good news.
I cleared me CMOS by moving the CMOS jumper and it works just as new. Any reason why this would act that way?

Odd...dunno why the CMOS would affect it....what made you think to try that anyways?

boi my remedy for fixin someting wen it doh work in windows is to reinstall from scratch
