a very bad anime, 42 episodes long, the last thiry or so is one big tournement with a new battle each episode (no talking about the eventual battle for 3 episodes to have it finish in one hit)
basically without giving away the story
it is about the weapons of a long dead ninja clan and is centered around the last 2 decendents of the clan leader who battle over control of the weapons
the weapons range to enchanted conventional weapons to orbs which grant incredible abilites (stuff you have never seen anywhere else, boy japanese men have real time to think up this stuff)
but the decendants of the clan leaders don't use weapons
in there arm lives a "flame" which even has an "avatar" (yes a physical form to represent itself)
the beauty of the anime cannot be expressed without giving away key plot events but it is not short of action (about 20 to 30 tournament battles, one new opponent for each battle.......wink wink)
