This idea was inspired by the mixed Nuts crew of 96.1fm. The idea is for GATT members to vote on who they think should be GATT person of the week. This is something like the "Employee of the week" idea with the voting being based on who you feel embodies the characterictics of the GATT gamer for that week. The person with the most votes gets the title of GATT gamer of the week and a prize of gold....let's say about 20 or so....

sounds good

but two intrinsic probs in that
1) Who nominates the people to vote on
2) How many people are to be nominated and how long do we have to vote.

actually the only fair way for this to be done would be for a few mods to take even more time out of their lives and monitor the boards carefully to see who they thinnk have been making worthwhile contributions during the week, nominate people by a particular day and have us vote on it.

We'll ask the admins to nominate and have the populace vote then. And a Monthly bases award sounds better.

Admins nominate based on a fixed criteria.
gatters vote in a poll.....who ever wins get the gold

and it's Gatter of the month now.

And we have a separate forum for this;so every week new thread can be made eg:
MOTW-6th October.
Or something so..
and then ppl go and vote.
