Can anyone shed light on this, it happens with the firewall on or off. right now firewall is set to block all incoming traffic, except on certain ports.

Any idea which ports should be set for MSN?

it differs..depending on which server u using..u cud set it to connect and then use netstat to see which port its trying to send out through and open that one

this is for DSL??

If it is, I in the same boat and haven't been able to figure it out myself.

It has gotten a lot more bearable of late though.

Used to be on and off every few minutes...now it's like in 30 minutes.

Strangely, gatt chat / irc doesn't disconnect at all.
