It a matter of her being socially trapped among ppl who are her intellectual inferiors.......and these ppl serve to make her life distressing. But the kewl thing is that she eventually realizes that intelligence is not an excuse to write off the value of others as human beings but to explore their nature and discover what makes them special.

For me that was the last great show on MTV.

=>maybe it's her extensive vocab
=>maybe they cant accept a womyn stand up and rebelling
=>maybe daria has caused other womyn to stand up(therefore reducing the role of the "dominating" man
=>maybe they just cant admit it

Well I still say B&B OWNZ on a level. Daria was great and so was Simpsons-10 years + and STILL owning yuh MC

Dunno why MTV stopped showing B&B and Daria-I'll buy the DVD collection if I can get my paws onna copy.

B&B = MY GEN FIRST VOICES OF REBELLION TO THE SYSTEM...

Along with ppl like BECK --- they can never be duplicated EVER!
Enevn though P!NK sang BECK's "real good time" for Charlie's Angels, BECK's own ownzz.

For that time no one really trusted ppl over 40 - and us youths had to fight (or thought we had to) for individuality and the right to party (BEASTIE BOYS). But i guess you guys who grew up on Barney and Tellitubbies wouldn't understand.
