Best Stealth Game, Metal Gear, Splinter Cell or Thief

hitman is a joke compared to splinter cell and metal gear..... you call THAT assasination? leaving all that mess? its more like an FPS game with the OPTION to stealth, in splinter cell, you HAVE to stealth. ...
 Splinter cell refined the stealth genre to a tee...  Hitman is still a diamond stuck in a rock, mixing a heavy 3rd person shooter and stealth isn't nice...

Hey everyone, look who sucks at Hitman!!!!!

47 could poison people.  How messy does that get?  It could only get messy if you play crappily and don't think your mission through.  You'd know this if you've gotten the Silent Assassin rank in ALL of the missions.  One bullet per target, kill NO one else.  Tell me how messy the game is then.

Metal Gear solid to me is the best one
it has a bit of comedy an its just a game that is fun
splinter cell is very straight forward, the "X" button does everything (on ps2)
i cant wait for metal gear solid 3

the green eyes in the dark are for YOU TO SEE YOURSELF......

splinter cells sniping is ALOT more advanced than hitmans.....

i'm sure if i was lying on a wall , clothed in black.. with black face paint and you were two feet away you wouldn't notice ME ..  [ in pitch dark of course]

hitman 2 was 'open ended' yeah , but the word ' stealth' doesn't fit its description ,  and hitmans AI are not  any better than splinter cells.....

what man could drive a moterboat into dock and not be noticed? [ level 2 hitman ]  by all those guards walking up and down.?

no game can be perfect at everything, splinter cell is ALMOST perfect PURE stealth.

metal gear is real good stealth/arcade action

hitman.... shouldn't be termed 'stealth' but rather ' avoidance' .....

did this dude say ninjas did it all the time. lmao ninja gaiden got yall confused. ninjas were more like modern day assasins who walked amongst normal during day. they never wore masks and tossed shuruikens from a thousand miles away in the dark. and ofcourse they can escape anything when they could toss sacks filled with rudimentary black powder to make a smoke cloud.

For the record Solid Snake is my boy but he isnt a ninja .
More like an all around soldier that specializes in stealth and sabotage tactics.

At the end of the day i would rather play MGS because splinter cell is just too simish for me. One thing i cud never stand about the first SC game was the fact that when Sam is spotted he just sits there and gets captured I MEAN WTF!!!

No operative in the real world would call that realistic .The first rule of espionage is never get caught. Do what ever it takes to escape.


If i had to infiltrate a location I'd want Snake as backup not Sam (I i cant shoot my way out of a paper bag) Fisher.

Sc is a good game but I only play it because Tom Clancy is my daddy.

I have to agree with Bob on many points there....Sam Fisher is the King of Quiet....but when the chips are down and the alarm is raised Solid Snake in nobody's prisoner.

So i say MGS.....as long as D.C. Denton of Deus Ex isn't in the competiton....cause he ownz all bases.
