DS vs. PSP. Sony Vs. Nintendo now

I haven’t been on in a minute guys, I see not much has changed. I hope this one has not been done before so here goes. You all know by now, what each system is and is capable of, so consider the announced software lineup, price factor (estimated is $200 on DS and $350 on PSP) and innovation that each system may or may not bring. Cast your votes.

Whats popping to my mang Imperial.  Tiger Genocide!
And as I sat down on the couch, reached down and grabbed the controller, I most nonchalantly looked over, barely gracing him with my eyes. I uttered calmly these simple and truthful words. \"Spread ur cheeks and bite down, cause now you are F*@%ED!\"

i personally vote for the DS because of what seems to be pratical features, the battery life (i mean we all woship our SP's) the dual screen aint that big to me. the touchscreen should prove to be great. the system is Nintendo so it will be sturdy. The PSP is wateredown just as the PS2 was, it can do everything, BUT it does none of them well, infact it does none of them good. The PSP may not even be stable to buy until a couple years and 12 modelss after (remember how many PSONE's they made and still couldnt get it right) anyways ya'll go on and vote. put your reason too.
Peace

hoss... i think u dont like sony.... first of all ps2 does everything more than well.....  but now time for the poll

psp is gonna pwn ds graphicswise and everything.. its gonna be better than the ds so thats where my votes go

Well we all know the ds is gonna sell more and again dominate the handeld section... aint nothin gonna suprise me. Nintendo knows the things not to do and what to do in the handeld.... cant say anything about consoles.... sony is dominating there....

but sony is making a smart move with psp... start with this... next handheld gonna be good... nintendo will still get more sales.... but then sony will come out again... with a handheld that is blowing away nintendo... sony just owns j00

if i had the money i would get the the DS, because it is innocative, nintendo has alot more experience building handhelds, and there are many good games that are in development and are actually playable as of now.

WHEN sony ACTUALLY shows us working games on the PSP instead of looped footage, i may change my mind.
cause its not about the specs, its about the games.

PsP any day.....the thing is a portable ps2....mp3 player and movie player.......
compare that to the price of a ps2 and mp3.......i tink the PsP would be cheaper

another reason is that sony is constantly bringing out new titles
not makin a new game for the same title like mario

u know, sony is claiming thier goal with the PSP is to emulate the home experience on the go, sorry but that tiny screen cannot make up for a 56" plasma and head fones cannot make up for 7.1 sound. besides how am i to play an endurance race in GT portable when the battery would most likely die before the race is over. who wants to be playing GTA San Andreas and the battery dies.

u r thinkin too much about the minor technicalities
i see the PSP as an innovation
sony would not release a product they know that would have low battery life
sony looks to the future in every aspect of technology
so they have my vote

screw nintendo
mario go fix something
your the only plumber i know that hasnt ever fixed a pipe :P :P :P :P :P

Sony only cares about money and abusing any market they can get their little, grubby, jap, hands on. They do not care about anyone but themselves as a company which is why they never made any real attempts to stop piracy of PS one games. You know why? I'll tell you why, they didn't have any development houses out. So when you can buy a ps one to have it modded to play copied games they make money while the software dev houses and pub houses lost out. The  Ps one was a travesty, you really gonna make me pay $300 for a system that i have to turn upside-down to play, becasue of the lens slipping on the tracks or of poor ventilation? i mean come on,t he ps one has over 10 versions out and none of them can stay alive half as long as an N64. Sony does not build quality products. PERIOD! but they have no problem charging you an arm and a leg for it. While the PSP look great i doubt it will practically prove to excell at any one thing. Sony and Nike are both the same, high prices and Low quality.
I own a PS2 but I also own a cube and an Xbox, guess which one never gave a problem?

if its about innovation then we can look to none other than the big N.

you better believe that Sony will sell u a PSP for $500 with a 2 hour battery and charge an additional $50 for a lithium battery.
and an additional $80 for a SONY mem stick.

so forget about mario fixing his pipes, they were well built by the big N from the get go, hence they dont need fixing, perhaps sony should try to fi thier faulty and defective equipment that US sheep run to buy.
