is it me or is startup taking 5-10 seconds longer than usual?? why are my games sticking to load vitual mem?? blue screens?

all machines do that after a while
Having a page file on a separate partition (preferably on the beginning of the HD) would be good.
Try defragging, or freeing up the hd a little.
If the HD's making noise, back up now.
A million things could cause this, but not dying RAM. Hardware's digital, 1 or 0, works or don't work. If a memory address was bad, you would have known at startup.

yes waggy is making good sense.defrag your hdd at least once a week to ensure smooth running.and try clearing disk space in the little applet in hdd properties
