If you are using the no-cd version, keep shadows off if you video card does not have a stencil buffer or you turn the steencil buffer off [like me] for more speed .

always look around with "F"

know your keys

be sure you are line up before you back jump

make sure to hit the right keys when back jumping

when time travelling ,  make sure you travel all the way back BEFORE your fatal action so as not to waste sand .

move quickly to dodge enemies

blocking is bad in multi enemy fights... jump of them regurlary to dodge.

do not smash buttons when multi wall jumping, calmly time your jumps .

my big tip is:
when fighting big sword or big spears who you can't vault-retreive, use your speed advantage to hit each of them a lash or a a kick (you can actually dish out damage more quickly when facing more than 2 opponents) then slow time, vault-retreive. Or alernateley, slow time, backflip to side to single one out, wait for his to strike then counter-retreive (parry-dagger)

blocking is ESSENTIAL in multi-enemy fights. but dont forget to backflip away from unblockables.

and USE THE WALLS to jump off and instantly knock down opponents. and use your power tanks, dont save them up unless you know that you will be facing so many guys you will have to use a haste (which drains all your power tanks) as in the elevator stage.

i say timing is essential and the basic duck and roll.

when fighting big sword or big spears who you can't vault-retreive, use your speed advantage to hit each of them a lash or a a kick

i usually let them do some damage to themselves, *effective definetly*

i think there is something wrong with my system... my controls are  a bit sluggish  sometimes..... or maybe its a bug with my no-cd cause when i block it is hard to unblock.

after you have rescued fara.. the following level requires more wall running than jumping as the distance is sometimes to far to jump .

when you reach a dead end... look down or up...

true... fellas wit big spears are hard to jump over unless thier spears are in a lowered , swiping position .
