I figure he just need a MOBO, CHIP, RAM, CARD he should be able to reuse hard drive, floppy, optical drives. If yuh workin with 1500 yuh could more than get them things with that.

While an AXP 3200+ would be nice 5G is a bit stiff man, you could build a kick ass system for less than 4G I helped a partner get most of the parts, specs are:
2600+ B@rton
512 Corsaid CL2.5
MSI K7N2 (nforce2 Ultra)
R@deon 9800 PRO

IF you drop the 9800 for say a 9550 it would reduce costs substantially, like say sub 3G, direct a post to me if you want more info.
