What is your favourite type of strategy game?

do you like turn based strategy games like advanced wars or rather a population limit like warcraft 3 and starcraft or no limit at all(mass unit rush) like command and conquer series or empire earth or do you like having heroes like warcraft3 or fire emblem.

i don't like warcraft's style much.... its single player story line made the entire system fun, but in a build rush on multiplayer.........

i like ground control's system, but its story line isn't that hot...

shattered galaxy's system is similar, but its massivly multiplayer aspect makes it more appealing..... but the graphics aren't good and it lagggs on dial up..

i most prefer the idea of RTS with a small unit cap and instead of lots of building, holding strategic points and calling down units...

i also like the turn based games like Total war that also give a very realistik RTS mode....

its a toss up between the total war turn based system
and the ground control RTS system..

The RTS genre has been boring me of late...it no longer has the appeal that it once had for me. I find myself playing more Turn-based Strategy games recently, my fav at the moment being Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic.

C&C Generals Zero Hour is my Favourite

But I will play just about any RTS game there is out, once I could get a copy.

and many more older ones just cant remember all.

Boi CRaZy know the thing boy is the madness and chaos in warcraft and starcraft thatgives them the edge for me.  The limiting of units, though sensible, does get kinda annoying.
