i recently (few hrs ago) talk to the man at genisis and we is pretty good "friends" and i asked him (since gaaara on de ticket) if they showing naruto
and ..........

so for the dbz fan a separate screne and also for the live action fan live action duh oh and he hate translation too so look forward for more subbed versions

....... Yes they asked for the liscence since anime 2 and got prmission to show up to ep 85 but probably only going to show 1-20 for the sake of n00bs and order

this not making sense in me head since
1 Naruto is not licensed in region
2 The only naruto avaliable sub is either anime subbers or Hong Kong dvd rip with hard subs

lol...well considering that for RK:Seisouhen, the version showed at that AC was a fansubbed version, i even had it, and that is quite clearly a pirated version of the movie....

There are no offical region 1 dvd won't be for a long time i hope region 2 dvd don't have english sub on them .
To shows fansubs u should first get permission for group and the then permission of manufactuer of anime
Also all region 1 dvd have subtities and jap language of anime on them so he lost his excuse there

lol u have no intrest in law becuase according to how the laws are written fan sub animes are only illegal if there is a company who bougth the license in your region ,that is how it is done . It can be taken into even more specifics as into how much episode that company licensed. i.e. therefore watching naruto not pirateing .Most fansub are better then offical release but i will not go into that. What is illegal is to charge people to go to an anime show and show fansub anime . Fansub anime is not suppose to open to public viewing unless u get authorization from the fansub group who did it and the japense ceators
