Honestly Linkin Park is one of my favorite bands and I want to know what Gatters think of their music.

They real dread at the right time as most of the bands out here. Like I not no rock head but when yuh sip a few extra in nuts and somewhere I belong start to play yuh go find it to be very touchin lol

As far as rock bands go, IMO they're the most MUSICALLY sound out there. There chord progressions and patterns are solid and catchy. Take a good listen to Numb if you don't believe me. That btw was the best song LP have ever made and for good reason too.

Anyway, I'm rattling about things that are a matter of opinion rather than fact....or am I? All I'm saying is that they're musically sound, and that makes them great.

they're a great mainstream rapcore band

i like their music at times

but most of the times i listen to all out metal......

I like Linkin Park. But there are times I just get fed up and stop listening to them. The radio just likes to play alot of Linkin Park and sometimes it just annoys me. But they are really great Musicians on the whole. I would go bak to listening to them when they get a new cd or if i want to listen to it if I gety bored or something.

Undoubtedly THE kewlest rock band Eh-VER.
To tell you the truth, there have been very few tunes in the rock world that can truly move me, but Linkin Park has done that and more.
Their best tunes:

Pts. of Athrty - Re-Animation
Pushing Me Away - Hybrid Theory
Easier to Run - Meteora
In the End - Hybrid Theory

Probably the worst song LP brought out was In the End -Re-animation. My ears bled at how badly hashed that tune was.

its a tie between with you ,in the end and points of authority for the hybrid theory/re animated side

and on the meteora side its definately gotta be a tie between faint and somewhere i belong

some where i belong and the spring break performance by bush of glycerine make me cry

well my preference is with From The Inside, Breaking The Habit, Pts. Of Authority (Reanimation), and Krwling

...and of course Numb and Faint aren't bad by any means, but i like those other songs just a little more for personal reasons

I have a question. My friends and I were aruguing about which one was the best cd Linkin Park ever made. So my question is Which one out of Meteora, Re-animation and Hybrid Theory is the best right now?

Meteora by far. It is musically sound as per usual with Linkin Park and the songs actually sound DIFFERENT. Most of the songs in Hybrid Theory had similar key progressions etc making a few of the songs sound almost the same but just on a different key altogether.

Hybrid Theory = Pure Rage

Re-animation = Rap Mix of Hybrid Theory (The version of High Voltage on that SUCKED)

Meteora = Balance between rage (Don't Stay, Faint) and mellowness (Somewhere I belongto some extent and Breaking the Habit, Easier to Run) with good ole Hahn kickin in his mix (Session).

I thought I posted this before, but if Numb wasn't LPs best song, how long did the songs you named stay up on the top rock billboards?

Honestly Hybrid Theory part of my life.

Though this is in no way to down play their acccomplishments on Re-Animation

to me they started off good with hybrid theory but i think they got worse as they brought out new albums.... instead of progressing they seem to be failing

I must admit that the ReAnimation wasn't all that great. You would only like it if you were say a rap/rock listener or something.

But...if this is what you think of the Meteora Album, then you MUST be tone deaf or something.
