What's the highest DSL download speed you get.

       Average Between       15 and 25 KB/s
       Spikes sometimes at     60KB/s

But on my other PC for dial up i get 50kbps...so i dunno :?

kbps=Kilobits per second
KB/s=Kilobytes per second
Mbps=Megabits per second

Deigo runs at  45kbps usually,  on a 56k modem all you can get is 56kbps.
 
My DSL runs between 144kbps(18KB/s) and 192kbps(24KB/s)
SPIKES AT 480kbps(60KB/s)

TI runs at approx. 10,000kbps or 10Mbps

128dsl: 132 kbps approx= 16Kbps (pretty constant, signal drops a few times a week, have to wait a few minutes)
using speedstream router connected to a hub via ethernet, then 10/100 mbit NIC to my pc, occasionally meh bro's laptop (integrated 10/100 NIC)

I've seen consistent transfer speeds of just over 202KB's per second at times.

A friend in P.O.S. Office also has 512 ADSL and gets 108KB/s

my partner has 128K untapped.He once got 1.5MBPS...dont have a pic of that but i have a pic of where he got 499Kps(With download accelerator)

400TT for unlimited DSL in tdad.. you get the bandwidth but the pings still suck for DSL...


the swedes get 50-60 ping on 28k modems! we are getting 150-200 ping on the fastest connection available TSTT is Sh!t.

 they have ONE router out of the country... its always overloaded so it adds +100 ping when it passes data through.. and that data  usually has to go through  llots of other servers to get to its  destination because the location of the router.

 Did anyone read the article TSTT wrote defending itself? more sh!t .. saying how the cost of equipment is soooo high... the prices are not whats bothering us mostly.. its WHAT WE GET FOR THE PRICE! 300-400 pings on dial up! not acceptable!

NO need for a pic I got it as well, our download manager may be fooling us, but my downloads are fast compared to dialup and thats all that maters right $400.00 NOW!!!!!!!!!

That's correct. Difficult to explain in detail how it is fooling you but believe me, it is. I remember seeing speeds of 12-15KB per secs through download managers on dialup back in the day with a single dialup connection...that's physically impossible. After numerous tests, I concluded that the manager was inaccurately guaging the speeds.

That bandwidth test on TSTT is pretty interesting...much akin to www.dslreports.com ...at least it reports my speed fairly accurately (~1.5mbit).
