and generals/ generals : zero hour

i like these 2 because
they are closest to live situations

CoD is based on what actually occurred ( WW2)

generals is based mostly on modern day war and weapons

warcraft III and frozen throne offer the best single player strategy available on the market, good graphics and gameplay come together in this title.

it also makes a great sweat game extending its lifespan for months after you beat the sinlge player game

actually as a fps Cod isn't really that great
if you want realism RS is more realistic

the only thing really dread thing about CoD was the AI in the single player and even then the single player wasn't the be all and end all
otherwise allyuh would still be playing it

in the end the single player, which is the best part of the game was too short to make it the best of all time
it is one of the best
but not the best

actually i much prefer generals sweats to warcraft.. so for me months, the single player was unmatched though, as baego said, story is everything.

 what i dislike about C&C generals is that it followed other RTS's in putting the interface on the bottom...

what will pwn also is something like Shattered galaxy , in 3-d and LAN capable, i dislike having to spend half the game building and worrying about resources...

I guess it depends on whats fun for you .

Personally I really do prefer RS over COD.They both provide dif kind of adrenaline rush so to speak.

With games like COD the fun is in crashing thru enemy lines with your men spraying bullets and spilling blood (yeah ).

The fun in realistic games like GR and RS is knowing that one bullet can kill you as you creep down that hallway or crawl across that field. Having no idea where the next tango will show himself your pulse racing so fast you can hear your own heart beat.When you finally do manage to clear out that bunker or building you get a much bigger sense of accomplishment having not been shot or lost any men.

well thas the way it is for me anyway.
