It was my first forray into massively multiplayer online.

I enjoyed it alot.
The servers went down on Monday night ending the string of betas that myself and a lot fo gatters have been playing.

Shadow Skill represented Gatt along the way and we picked up a lot of friends while we were at it.

I have a music video that I did from teh game that will be avialable by the end of the week and I have a whole bunch of picks... (just about 500) that anyone who wished can see.

It was fun and now the adventure begins anew.

i miss the moonlit walks on gludin beach
i miss the watching the sunrise from the clif behind the school of dark arts
i miss the cries of pain from the dryads, and the death throws of the mist leech

soon i will be back in

I'll miss the beauty of the world, the social aspect, and the exploring.

I'll miss the limes the most...limes with my buds.

But World of Warcraft will be here soon!

lineage 2 is just ANOTHER knockoff of some game that they made MMO....

very few MMOs manage to solve their basic problems :
lag , both internet lag and machine lag
longevity
finding some way to make the players cooperate without forcing them.
making the graphics not look lame.

lineage 2 solves all but the first and the last problems.

The lag isn't that bad most of the time (and I played on cable). The graphics is awesome. The open PVP is frustrating but veru cool at the same time.

I give it my thumbs up for all the good things it has it makes up for the bad.

the graphics are good.. but the terrain looks bland... and the colours are unusually dull.

have yu played Lineage yet dude?

And yu are sounding like an oxymoron. The graphics cannot be good and yet have bland environments. Have yu ever ben to elf town, Saw the centre of DE city, or down to orc town in where the pristess of fire is?

In the ant Cave where the dreaded queen lives. been about talking Island where the humans romp back and forth in Giran where shilenos and lizardmen abound.

Bland .... naw I think yu need a second look

either way its cool anyhows. We like it for what it is its a good game in our books.

alright then..

the graphics use an unusually high poly count, but the textures lacked nice bump mapped surfaces that most of the other MMOs have..

the colours are dull.. but a radeon card would probally fix that.

the terrain suffers from pattern texture... the ground looks like a repeating pattern from a distance... needs more trees.

i u feel the terain bland and the colours "unusually dull"....
then u have not been to the ivory tower, never seen the oren castle town
never went to orc city in elmore
never took the road to giran
never saw a leto lizard man or a werewolf chieftan

mabey that is a good first impresion of the starter area.
i'm sorry u weren't able to see more and sadly the beta is over.

ohhh I get what yu are saying. it is different however when yuh have your graphics set up a bit high.

But again the good far outweigh the bad on this venture so much so that people lik emyself and a couple other gatters are gonna be paying money to play it.

Guild wars is supposed to be an answer to all these points u bring up and they may be so, WoW as well might have some good parts to it.

But I like my lineage and I will be there for a bit

I saw crixx watching lineage longingly... he was horning gunbound one night late sneaking a keltir kill in talking island. I saw him once but he ran into town and hid where the dwarven blacksmiths lay.

AH HA HA HA..... It's finally over .... I remember hearing men complaining of no sleep, how dey getting thin and dey guyl leaving dem cuz of lineage. Ah even remember de time ah threatened to delete lineage off shizz comp... boi yuh shoulda see de look in he eye... BAD and I had to run up in de NUTS for cover yes jed to let shizz cool down
