it never ceases to amaze me how Batman's many fans always seem to be blind to the fact that it is nearly impossible for the dark knight to stand up to the man of steel without a little piece of green rock.

actually power girl and Ka ra aka Super (what did you really expect it to be) Girl
are two different characters in the marvel universe (at least originally)

Shes not even a living being type person, but thats another story.

Ka is her first name, Ra is her last name
Ka of the house of RA , niece of LA of the house of RA
La Ra mother of Kal El

oh and i explained the batman dark knight returns with the infinite crisis events that nullified all prevents events.

Batman went toe to toe with supes and died . THat was fixed thru inifite crisis.

wolverine will never be in the running for greatest superhero
he isnt a great super hero.

If this was a poll for most bad ass super hero then hands down logan wins.
But he doesnt have enuff heroic attributes. Neither does batman, they are to much of wild cards to be of greatest public use. Which makes them less of a hero than superman.

if my memory serves correct the original power girl who was on the starting lineup of justice league europe, had a different origin than that of Ka Ra

if there is a new power girl then that just proves to show you that SUPER HEROS WITH SUPER STRENGTH AND INVUNERABILITY THAT COULD FLY ETC.
