Nah man when it comes to full automatic weapons the BAR takes the cake

BAR is an excellent weapon for support, but its slow rate of fire and reload doesn't make it a worthy assault weapon

it is probrably the most powerful weapon ( melee too) and can be used for long ranged like a rifle

well its rate of fire may not be as fast as that of the thompsons but its accuracy makes up for it...check it I can even snipe with the thing how many other full automatic rifiles can you do that with besides the Bren LGM

GOsh man, how many times must I say it, the Bren is NOT a rifle. It was a heavy machine gun designed with a tripod stand or a stand alone weapon to be carried by infrantry. The BAR is rifle because it uses altered long 9.5 shells, the BREN uses machine gun and heavy rounds. It was slightly designed for areas with massive ground troops or light aircraft because of its high fire rate and splintering rounds. It's sight wasn't all that accurate, but was more selected as a ground troop sheller because if its high and damaging fire.

The BREN is more like a heavy Browning version of a Thompson, but with slower rate and heavier rounds for those who want it in layman gaming terms.

Oh and the BAR IS a good long range weapon, just that its a bit hard to get used to if anything because of its weight and moving fire.

Well hence the BAR is called the Browning Automatic Rifle. It was meant to be and auto rifle for WW2 but wasn't used much excpet for support teams because its rounds and the weapon itself were heavy and thus unsuitable for parachute jumpers.

one thing it was designed around 1918, for WWI and was kept in the american inventory past WWII into Korea (1950's)
it was ment to act as a LMG even though it was named a auto rifle and it was used in the same roles as the Bren with regards to infantry work (the MP44 is the closest equivalent in the german inventory to the Bren and BAR so that is why it is used in the game as the support weapon, it was not a support weapon in real life, the germans used the MG44 as the main support weapon and the MG34 as their HMG

the Bren isn't a heavy machine gun it is a Light Machine Gun (don't know what was the British HMG) and in the game its accuracy is quite deadly, much more stabile than the BAR

ravenshield is the most realistic game out of all, when YOU are holding 50 pounds of equipment on your back will you be able to run or jump ?  

but it only simulates SWAT, HRT and anti-terrorism
and some aspects are balanced, i.e. not realistic

i dont mind if yuh have to press ah button to pick up gunes and stuff  although u have to do that the game have better gunes than sof2 although i like the sniper rifle more in sof than in cod.....cod is still d killer game

liek u eh see the kind of guns it have in cod....OMG!!!!!!!! the thompson gun is ah real boss gun but as i said the bad ting bout sof is that in d multi player mode when u kill your oppent u and your oppent have to wait about 5 to 10 seconds before u can move but in cod when uyuh kill ah person u actually seeing the body on the ground and u can move and look for the person rather than stay in one spot and wait a while to respawn... the only regret i have for cod as i said was the sniper rifle...
