its a PIII dell with 380mb of ram and an 8500 128mb . Level 2 is the laggiest level in the game, it contains THE pinky demon the personification of lag in games everywhere . Systems with 3Ghz and 9700 pros get 2 fps with the demon and are stuck on 7-8 for several minutes after .
there seems to be a bug with the resolution, it jumps from 512x308 to 1268x960 when the resolution is changed in the console from 3 to 4 . At 512x308 the frame rate is alot higher but the screen is streched and missing some areas.
Doom III has THE most AMAZING textures, you can go into the folder and look at the textures, some are PIXELATED but the amount of bump mapping used makes it look SUPERB .
HL2 has the nicest water, fire and explosions .

doom III is not meant to have revolutionary gameplay, it was meant to have graphics and sound that will make you wet your pants several times.
Doom III will have 6 areas to play in, mars city, mars communications , mars factory , mars research centre and mars supply centre.

remember you lose alot of quality in jpeg compression, here are some halo screens, same jpeg compression... faster video card , lower frame rate, SUX.
it also proves that some FX cards have CRAPPY colour quality.

true true... but you won't be seeing this model much in the game cept for the intro , the zombies have higher polygon counts and the shadows will hide 99% of the model's faults when you are playing the game

So wait..Trini..u meaning to tell me..i will WASTE $50US to buy a pretty game that dull and "sounds" exciting? The point of a game is to entertain, not to look good.Atleast Halo was good.Graphics aint everything.
