On the contrary...it DOES matter if it's hot or not...if it is a hot item, and you purchase it, not only are you liable if caught, but you have also encouraged the supplier to keep supplying. It's the same thing with buying gold from a spranger...it doesn't occur to you that by buying the items, you are encouraging these people to continue in their ways. But you don't really care right? As long as they ent thief it from you...right? What goes around...comes around. I had a friend who had the same attitude once. Buying every lil piece of gold from the local spranger. Until one day he realise that he was buying his mother's chain that was stolen the week before.

But like...whatever yo...do as you must.

beware ... some websites sell REFURBISHED video cards at looow prices.... if the card was faulty or overclocked to te sky and would not work they get returned.. some guy takes a hammer and smashes it.... den they sell it at half price

Refurbished goods aren't necessarily bad tho. One theory on refurbished goods is that the problem with the card has now been fixed...on the other hand, who's to say that that there aren't more problems to come? It's a double-edged sword really...I personally wouldn't buy refurbished parts tho, unless you're getting a full-fledged warranty on it. Or if it's an item like a floppy drive or something equally insignificant in the scheme of things...

sounds like its second hand and you may not get the call of duty game with it....oh and just ensure that it isn't the chipset and that it is working properly.

make sure it is a 9800XT not a 9800SE [ they sound the same when spoken fast] the 9800SE is an okay card... but it gets its A** kicked by a radeon 8500 AIW or a geforce 4 TI . the 9700 is still the best way to go... 1200 TT off the net DX9 support and faster than anything nvidia has except the 5900/5950 .

i asked the guy and he told me it was the se and not the xt ...the xt is about $3000
