Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
« on: December 11, 2003, 10:15:50 AM »
Ok, as some of you may know already, there is a splinter cell sequel called Pandora Tomorrow. If you dod not know, then "Hey, did you know that there's a Splinter Cell sequel commong out on '04?" . Ok with that bit of trivia out of the way, lets get to the meat of this thread.

Due to the extremely huge success of the first game, Ubisoft has developed another Sam Fisher game, in this episode there will be a complete single player game. Once again sam will have to travel to global hotspots to thwart terroism. This time he'll not only tiptoe through hallwways, but also venture outdoors and even on a mooving train. You will also have different ways to schieve the same goal, so you wont have to follow one path to get the job done. Add to this, some new weaponary and equipment to this and you have one hot game.

But the game's most anticipated feature is the online play, well for folks with Broadband any way, which really bums me out, because it looks so damn cool, and I'll never get to play online. There will be 2 mode of onlone/multi-playgcube). In areas much like the single player mode, up to four people will sneak around shadowy environments while playing as either a spy or a mercenary.

As a spy you are part of a N.S.A. team that must sneak into a facility and do numerous tasks, which include data retrevial and recon. In the merc mode you and a team run around and blow the heck outta everything. In spy mode you have government treaining and less ordinance, in merc mode you have no government training and more equipment. With all the work that Ubisoft put into this title you'd think that they sense that the snake eater commeth.

I downloaded and played the demo of Pandora Tomorrow this morning. Man the game is just like it should be. I really like it since i thought the first one was possibly one of the best games i have played in a while.
For those that have already seen the trailers for it you play the mission on the train. The download is 118 MB. You can get it at your usual sources.
