Riddle me this, Riddle me that
i got a riddle for you, i'm just running a survey, so let's see if you can get this

Prophecy Riddle

The Angel of Death brings forth a message from the God of Destruction. "Fear the Fire of Faith,"(BTW faith there is not religious). The God of Destruction does not meddle with the death of mere humans, his aims are higher. In the Shadow of the Past, shall rise the Beast of Retrospect. Prepare to be caught in its flaming fury.
Explain this prophecy in full detail, hence state, at least, the cause of the destruction(our doom). Also include how our death shall take place i.e. the God of Destruction's actions

Better riddle.
Get a nine digit number that uses all digits between one to nine where the first number is divisible by one the first two numbers is divisible by two the first three numbers by three and so on until the entire nine digit number is divisible by nine.
There's only one number that can satisfy this.

First off, Polios, no disrespect here but I mean that is the MOST retarded riddle I've seen in my life. It goes in to some type of mythology that I don't want to delve into much. If you have never heard of if, how in the hell are you supposed to figure that out? Besides that, I think some things in there are fundamentally flawed. The Angel of Death does NOT deliver messages. He's the Angel of Death and that's what he brings, not telegrams or horrorscopes.

The only thing I could discern is the fact that this "God of Destruction" isn't planning on killing ppl. And that narrows the victims list to either demons, angels and gods and whoever the hell else you failed to mention that exist on this "plane" and time. If you plan on posting something out of the norm, don't do something lame like say one guess man. It's irritating.

Secondly Pyroslasher.

A number that works is 123456789. Nine numbers from one to nine satisfying all the asked requirements. You NEVER said equally divisible. You can divide any two numbers. If you divide a number by zero, you would obviously end up with infinity but it still has an answer.

Also the first number 1 is divisible by 1
The first two numbers 1 and 2 form the number twelve which is divisible by 2
The first three numbers 1,2 and 3 for one hundred and twenty-three which is divisible by 3.

Still, I think your guess was a very educated one.

How is this even a sensible riddle?
I'm virtually confused as to the focus of it right now....
Yeesh, and I thought it wouldn't get any worse that those Chat Room submissions in the Jokes thread....yeesh.

For one thing, I gave two guesses with ONE answer. From my experience with mathematics, you work with what is given. Equally divisible was never clarified and it being "understood" is a self imposed limitation rather than a given fact.

And yea, those chat room submissions were lame I have to agree.

There were these two guys, Stan and Dan. They are brothers. They have the same parents, were born on the same date, look almost identical and live in the same household. Yet, these two are NOT twins. Why?
