It's just about a bunch of people who don't like themselves.  To me it's pathetic.  I will not be watching this show for the mere fact that their negative outlook on self esteem on the whole may rub off on me.

Sad, really...

showtime have it right

only in america, stupid ish like this could pass for a show,
and not only that, the fact that mtv has a core audience of teens and especially impressionable ones, means they dont mind foaking up peoples self esteems and making the sheep do even more silly things than they are used to.

Despicable
where are the communist when yu need them.

Now, while I'm not usually one to put people down...
God damn, that is just pathetic. Can't people just appreciate what God has bestowed unto them? And on top of that, they're fighting to look like one of the most pathetic breed of human beings on the planet-American celebrities. Now I'm not saying that ALL American celebs are pathetic, it's just that the majority of them are egotistical, self-centered, selfish and, above all else, the most spoilt people on the face of the planet.
Seriously.
Half of what they earn could go to charity or to give some unfortunate person a second leg on life, but what they do? Buy a house with ten bathrooms that they don't even need? Eat $1000 lunches. Yeesh. How shallow. And these people want to look like them.

Well, okay.
That whole celeb-bashing sorta contradicted my saying that I'm not one to put people down, but that's how I feel. People, let this be a harsh reminder that we should be happy with who we are, and even if we're not in the most fortunate of circumstances, let us try to make the best out of it. After all, the good Lord above didn't put you on Earth to be anyone else, you can bank on that!

just accept it

i happen to enjoy shows like these and intend to watch it often
i not saying i going to go out there and do it
but hey i am interested in watching how these things turn out

I dont' like it.  Low self esteem might be something that's a part of life, yes, everyone goes through it sometime.  Hell, there was maybe a time or two that I didn't reek of such awesomeness.

But i don't think that it's something that should be encouraged.  And that is why I, personally would not watch it, not even one episode to even see what it's like.  B/c i already know the gist of it.

It's about a bunch of white rich kids who lack a meaning in life.  They've reached a stage of depression in which they're not even comfortable with their own physical appearance.  So they want to change it to some actor/music star, who they barely realize goes through all kinds of hell to look the way they do.  And I will be no part of such depths of patheticism and hanousity.

no one is encouraging it, they do show both sides of the story
they do show the ppl who say hey it is not worth it
so the show is not biased in any way
maybe you all should watch it before you talk about it?
