New X-Men, man.
Magneto gave Jean Grey a 'planetary scale stroke', causing her to die a very, VERY painful death. This caused Wolverine to snap and decapitate Magneto. However, Marvel has hinted that Jean will return [AGAIN with this 'returning from the dead' stupidness, ESPECIALLY with Jean Grey], but for now, she's dead. And no, the Phoenix in the 'Here comes Tomorrow' storyline taking place right now is NOT Jean Grey, it is a hatchling from the Phoenix Egg.

As for Psylocke?
Her death is OLD news.
She died in X-Treme X-Men #2, when a villian by the name of Vargas anticipated her every move and thrust his sword through her side, killing her in one strike. She did make a couple of guest appearances after in flashbacks and even as an apparition to ArchAngel, but she's dead.
Probably for good, like Colossus.

Rachel Grey is the daughter of Cyclops and jean Grey, from a distant future that should have been, but wasn't. (Another of those convenient 'deleted future' stories, you could say). Marvel claims that she's brought back to the past, for what reason, I have yet to know. I'm pretty p.o.ed that Marvel would just up and slip in a character without giving some explanation as to WHY Rachel would show up, her first appearance being in an X-Men baseball game, no less.
I'm kind of grateful that she is there....the fact that the Phoenix gene has been passed down to her intrigues me. That, and the fact that she knows about White Queen's affair with Cyclops. Too bad we won't really SEE much of White Queen in that title, as she is going to really be more in Astonishing X-Men, and so, this little rivalry may be placed on the backburner.

On a lighter note, a quote from that comic that I find amusing:
Rachel: "That was for my mom, Emma."
Emma: "I heard that, you little ungrateful COW!"
Rachel:(grinning evilly while appearing as the Phoenix) "Mooooooooo!"

I believ that Rachel Grey is actually a much older character from a story a few years ago when Cyclops and Jean or Madeline (can't remember exactly think jean) interacted with future ancestors of theirs (possibly including cable as a baby, but I can't remember for the life of me) got it from a  "X-Universe" site

Yes, Rachel Grey is from a future that never happened, and that's basically what Rommel's saying too, he's just getting a more in depth about it than me. I wouldn't say that she's the next Phoenix...not YET, anyway, but it's blatantly obvious that she inherited the gene from Jean.

Seriously, boy.....White Queen is THE sexiest beech this side of the X-Men, and these people chasing after corpses so. And Rogue, don't get me started. I've always been a sucker for Southern Belles.

Hey Yuriko (memory a bit shady on the whole marvel universe now) AKA Lady Deathstrike is also freaky looking you forgot her... (hot in the movie though), but that aside, I think Psylocke is prolly the hottest then Rogue, but Jean is the most powerful so define best... best looking? best powers? oh and as soon as I have priviledges to put pics I will, I have tonnes of collector cards from my youth
