Linux is good less or no bugs if I'm not mistaken but I pose a question is linux good for a gamer, sure it's good for a programmer, but what about games are the games compatible with linux, therefore XP and Linux....Dual boot IWMC

Actually, for some reason ME works great on E-Machines.

Waggy, the later batches of Emachines are ... not that bad.  Apart from the PS issues, they seem to be standard machines.

I like style XP it simplifies the task of customizing, but I still like to hack the registry to edit my boot screen etc. I haven't noticed styleXp slowing down my PC's speed too much, but it still uses some resources.

I also agree proformance is crucial but I really feel my system should look good. That's all.
