Men travellin with dey PC, having to take about 4 different Taxi to reach port of spain. Spending about $60 in passage, $30 to go, $30 to return and still payin $20.00 in sweat fee.Religiously eh. That was like an every weekend mecca. Not a day yuh go hear a man complain (well cept for maniac, but he used to complain bout everything)Thus started the legacy of the greatest warriors GATT has ever seen.Positive Progressive thinking. Not worry warts and complainers and fussers like what I am seeing on this forum page today. Even worse, from respectable mods and influential people.For Shame.Infact, it is these same very south people that would instigate the greatest GL in the east to become what it is today. SnS.These same very south people who would again, travel from siparia, to go SnS and rally a squad of countless gamers from all over the island to come SUHUWEAT!!!The whole scene was created and sustained by men from all over the island. Less concerned about who coming from where but morso with who kicking ass and having a good glorious time playing games.There will always be people who would never pass the "lighthouse" and sweat close to home. Nothing wrong with that.Right now, these same south people are rallying a squad to play in "Trinidad vs Jamaica" matches, and here you guys are quarreling about who not coming down SnS. Petty.Neglect? The administration has neglected SnS? Are you insane? We fix those machines religiously, they are still running @ 99% full operational capacity to date. No small feat for a GL that size. The machines were ALL recently formatted. Fresh start idmc.The specs are now dated, they cannot run the new machines and nothing save a LOT of money for a massive upgrade can change that. GATT consists of gamers and IT Technicians, not lotto winners. We can't sponsor the GL an upgrade.So don't blame us for that. We did the best that we could with what we had. This is the responsibility of the SnS owners. They have always been conscious of the need for upgrades. Even taking a baby step and allowing us to upgrade the RAM on 5 machines. They have been taking quotes and checking prices on massive upgrade for almost a year now. Again, the issue is MONEY. Not lack of vision or desire.Understand the scene, check your facts.I am ashamed to say that this is where some of you are at after the last 5 years of our development.
