Oh yea, another Street fighter question. Well not really a question, but something i noticed. While watching the Street Fighter series that does show on Cartoon Network (the japaneese one that in Spanish, not the american crappy one) me and redeye noticed something VERY interesting. Akuma is in it....

Believe it or not, Akuma is in the judgement show.
*Clears throat
My 1st encounter: Ryu had now learned how to do a Ha-dou-ken from Dhalsim, he taught him how to focus he power or someting like dat. And when Ryu was saililng away on a little raft that was going to carry him back to the mainland, so he could catch a plane to go home or something, he was waving to Dhalsim and all the village people. Admist the ppl, was Akuma standing there. The camera did not focus on him, to make him obvious. He was just there in the group of villagers.

Redeye 1st encounter: Ken had just finished doing something (I cyah remember wha redeye tell meh) and he was going through the airport and admist the crowd, Akuma was there.

Redeye 2nd encounter: Ryu & Ken was doing something or the other passing through some village (once again i cyah remember) where there was alot of trading going on, e.g. trading carpets, clothes etc. So ne wayz, as they walking through, Akuma was in the background buying fish from a vendor.

CAN SOME1 EXPLAIN THESE THINGS PLEASE?

To answer the kenshin and hiko question....Obviously hiko is better but the show is tryin to show us that power is not the only answer to legendary status. Yes he has power but he uses it for a different purpose....thereby invoking the values the creator wishes to protray

Nyaah Arazi. How you could ask that jed. You a big SSFT2 Turbo fan should know this. When you beat it with Cammy you get the whole run down.

Cammy was brainwashed by Bison to be a soldier for him. And then something happened (i not sure), but she broke away from his control.  Ever since then, Bison has some sort of mental hold over her. If anyone has the WHOLE story behind this plz post, but I'm correct about the basis of it so far....

Here's something lots of SF fans don't know.

What does the sign on Akuma's back mean?

It literally means 'ten' in japanese, or is at least the symbol denoting that number. It also means 'Ascent into heaven', which is most likely linked to Akuma's habit of stealing the 'Chi' from his honorable foes and leaving then to die.

From what I understand of the storylines of the Street Fighter Saga, this is what I understand of the relationship between Cammy and Bison. What I am going to say is just a conglomeration of everything Street Fighter-related I've seen so far (and probably some good old-fashioned common sense, while I'm at it...):

We don't really know much of Cammy White's past in itself. In the Alpha series, where Bison was technically 'first' introduced, he was seeking out the best warriors to integrate into his 'Super Soldier' program, so that he may rule over an unstoppable army. This was indicated in the Street Fighter 2 Anime movie, as well as all Three of the Alpha series games.
Cammy, apparently, had the skills that Bison was looking for, so, she was abducted by Bison, and brainwashed into serving him as agent 'KillerBee'.

(Now, the concept behind this is somewhat sketchy. The now-defunct Street Fighter cartoon which used to show on the USA channel, which, by the way, is a very UNreliable source for Street Fighter history, says that Cammy's father was a mole in Shadaloo, and both of her parents were executed as a result and Cammy herself brainwashed by Bison's then-slave, Dhalsim. While the effects doesn't take place in the show until AFTER Cammy joins the English Secret Police, rendering this event in the true series history somewhat false, it seems to be the only explanation we have as to how Cammy became who she was in the first place.)

In any case, we could establish that Cammy already had skills to be recruited into the program (it's obvious Bison doesn't TRAIN warriors, he abducts the best into his program), and must have been abducted under forceful circumstances (the parents being exterminated part MAY be true, we never see them alive again).
In any case, Cammy became agent Killerbee, and became one of Bison's personal assasins.

As many of you gamers would know, this mind-control would span a LOT of games. She's already made appearances in two of the Marvel vs. Capcom series games (since she appears at the beginning and the end of the series, she's been under Bison's control the whole time), the CAPCOM vs. SNK series (still completely under Bison's control, although several factors in the game is rather incompatible with that) and Street Fighter Alpha 3.
Street Fighter Alpha 3 may be the very game where Bison's mind-control is lost over Cammy, despite several claims otherwise:

X-Men vs. Street Fighter: If you beat the game with Cammy, she breaks out of Bison's control and joins the Secret Service. This ending, while it suggests why Cammy is no longer Bison's personal plaything, can't possibly be true. She makes a return later in the series as Agent Killerbee, in Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

Street Fighter (USA cartoon): Once again, this show is complete bunk when it comes to accurately depicting the history of the Street Fighters. Cammy breaks out of Bison's trance when pictures of her parent's execution snaps her back to reality. As you can see in Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Cammy isn't in any way, under the control of Bison anymore to begin with, and seeing as how the cartoon depicts this happening around that time, this claim is false.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 may be the best suited to tell the tale of the big, bad break-up between Cammy and Bison. If you follow the course of the story, Cammy's already outlived her purpose, and Bison had plans to dispose of her at the very end. When Cammy found this out through battle with his sub-ordinates (most likely, from Vega, who bluntly says he was sent to kill Cammy), it's possible that she broke out from under Bison's control and became her own woman. I won't go so far as to say that she challenged Bison and won her freedon, since, obviously (as these games go, at least) she didn't win the tournament. She went on to join the secret service, which is highlighted a LOT in the USA cartoon (but, once again, inconsistent with the game....Celia is blond, Rory has TWO metallic arms and the kid who's with them is missing. See Cammy's ending in Super Street Fighter 2 and see for yourself).

From my best guess, the 'mental hold' that Bison may possess over Cammy may be some residual effect from her previous brainwashing.
However, as you can see in the game when you kick Bison's behind with Cammy, it comes off as more of a desperate plea by Bison to spare his life. Cammy, though troubled by this, shrugs it off as mere paranoia (thanks to her secret service buddies) and returns home.

That's my understanding of it, really.
If anybody has anything more to contribute to this, please, post away and tell us. I've done the best that I could.  8)

...not likely.
Simply put, there were no future appearances by Sagat after the events of Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo (all of the most recent games that were released after this game, such as the EX series, MvC, SvC and so on, all happened BEFORE this game takes place in the Street Fighter Universe).
It's pretty obvious that if there was a next Street Fighter tourney after that one, these factors would have to be considered:

1. Sagat defeats Ryu - FALSE. But let's say that did happen. knowing Sagat, he would proudly defend his title as the 'Muay Thai Emperor' at the next Street Fighter tournament, and Ryu....would probably be at home, chewing on the only thing he CAN chew anymore-applesauce.

2. Ryu defeats Sagat, but Sagat lives- most likely FALSE. If Ryu did unleash a big old can of whoop-ass on Sagat's hide, but Sagat lived to tell the tale, there's now way in HECK that Sagat would pass up a new opportunity to get revenge on Ryu. His numerous appearances across the Street Fighter chronology would prove that. It's highly unlikely that Sagat would run with his tail between his legs after being whupped by, quote: 'Some kid'.

3. Ryu defeats Sagat, Sagat dies- this is most likely TRUE. Sagat has not appeared AT ALL in any of the Street Fighter 3 Games, which is the final chapter in the series, anyway. As indicated above, Sagat would take any chance to get back in the ring and beat the beejesus out of Ryu. It's also possible that instead of dead, Sagat could be just permanently crippled, unable to fight again. I guess only time will tell if Capcom releases a
Street Fighter 4 (which doesn't seem likely....but never say never, right?)

Here's my take on it.
As indicated in a few games, one of which is X-men vs. Street Fighter, Akuma may possess a 'sixth sense'. Not to say that he's psychic or anything, or he would be completely unbeatable, but an ability to read an opponent's character-his very soul.
Akuma's constant comsumption of his opponent's 'Chi' may lead to his own understanding of how warriors such as Wolverine work. [Then again, which warrior WOULD be like Wolverine?] Here are a few instances where akuma has displayed some form of a 'sixth sense':

Street Fighter Alpha 2: Akuma senses an evil presence within Ryu during a battle. From this point on, you'd see a lot of references about an 'Evil Ryu' most of which is made by Akuma, who's never actually SEEN it but just has this hunch it exists.

Street Fighter #3, DreamWave Productions: Ryu has this horrifying dream about untapping into his dark emotions and completely vaporising Ken with a Gou-Hadou. Akuma, several miles away [possibly at Gouken's gravesite], senses that Ryu has begun feeling a great Evil within him, even though the dream has just taken place.

Another explanation is that Akuma also loves to play mindgames with his opponents, preying on their weaknesses and fears and using it against them. Wolverine's greatest enigma is his own past, and any notion that somebody has info on his is just enough to provoke his interest.
It's possible Akuma figured out this fact about Wolverine, and used this to his advantage. Akuma is later defeated by Wolverine in the game's sequel, where Akuma swears not to cross paths with Wolverine again.
Akuma does return in MvC2, but there isn't even any storyline in that game to fully establish why he's there.

CAN SOME1 EXPLAIN THESE THINGS PLEASE?

The show you saw is obviously complete and utter bunk.
We all know the it was Gouken that taught Ryu the Ha-Dou-ken, and NOT Dhalsim. The show is more of an alternate reality, for several reasons:

1) Chun-Li eventually becomes a Shadaloo Super Soldier, with kudos to those little triangle thingy in her head. In the games, Chun-li has no memory of this, and there is no indication by Bison at all that she ever was, either. [And no, Shadow Lady from MvC doesn't count]

2) Bison is wearing blue. I don't think he's THAT fashion-concious [play the game with him wearing white after American Labour Day, and you'll see why I said that.] Bison, as you now, him, always wears RED.

3) Ryu (or Ken, I'm not sure) becomes a Super Soldier. Despite Bison's pented interest in him, it's highly unlikely that he's been ever added to the ranks of Shadaloo.

4) This one makes me laugh. Charlie is a near-balding, middle age man that apparently can't fight as well as Guile, despite the fact that Charlie taught Guile everything he knew and had an oddball blonde hairdo, just like him.

5) Chun-li's father is still ALIVE, and was working with Ryu, Ken and Chun-li. Chun-li's father was offed by Bison LONG before she met Ryu and Ken.

This is just Deja-vu with the USA Street fighter all over again, except the most suitable explanation is that this is an alternate reality close to the actual events.

That's exactly the piont, the ssf2 ending for cammy contradicts far too many references in other games, bison claims that cammy was in love with him. In the alpha series and in snk, she is his slave.

Ryu becomes a super soldier serving bison, he and ken fight and he breaks out of bisons control - the exact opposite of the movie version.
