Metroid zero mission
« on: February 07, 2004, 08:29:03 PM »
This game is very awesome to me. If you are like me and addicted to the metroid series this is the perfect prequil. I has similar controls like that of metroid fusion and it has some cool new power ups. I played already and honestly I want a copy of my own.

ok this is a basic description of the game. It is the first mission for Samus Arran (the NES verson) but the visuals look like those of fusion. It also has new power ups that have not been introduced to any of the other metroid titles. All in all it is the first metroid with better graphics, more power ups, better sound and extra levels.

Screens for you. It's not a prequel by the way, just a remake of the original plus an extra area as well as new weapons and abilities. IMO it's not better than Fusion. Fusion had a lot more story behind it as well as more quests and so on. Zero Mission is extremely short also, the point of the game is to basically finish at 100% on the hardest level to unlock all the secrets and so on.

I think the game looks very cool. It's a definite must-have for any collector of the Metroid series, and from the advertisements, there will be some old school enemies like Ridley thrown in for variety.
I think this 'inter-galactic bounty hunter' storyline is exactly what the series needed...I mean, come on. How many times is Samus going to investigate SR-388 and the inhabitants? Time for her to move on.

This one of the best gba game i played in awhile the best part for me was when you have to sneak MGS style in some space pirates ship for your suit that they stole

That was the most frustrating part for me. Is it even possible to get through there un-noticed? I tried and every single time the alarm goes off because those blasted pirates hiding in the walls. And they not taking away just 10energy points, they taking away a whole block or 2. It fun, but very frustrating especially on the harder settings.

The only reason you peeps had trouble sneaking in that level was becuz you dont possess an advanced bloodline like minibob and I.

Being a ninja just comes naturally.

Yeah I likeed Fusion's graphics and gameplay a lot more than Zero Mission. But I don't think they really tried to turn this into a story based game just something you can always pick up when you're bored and beat it in a few hours, which I like.
