Ok this is a wierd name for an anime series. Its very short, about 6 episodes long i think.
I came across it by checking out........guess who.....Morgan Webb from tech TV who is an anime junkie. However Miss Manners (as she calls herself) fancies a different kind of anime. the kind that they make about regular people, no superpowers, stuff like that. Yeah sounds boring but its strangely compelling.

FLCL or Fooly Cooly (has nothing to really do with the series, the creator just liked the name) is different though. An alien rock star, Haruko (a girl) who fights robots that come out of a boys head........oooooooookkkkkkkkk. Anyway its a short series, i thought it was pretty damn funny and you should check it out. Easy to find on Kazaa.

some of us already have the entire series, and it's Furi Curi[Kuri] which by some ppl is meant Fluptonic Cluptonic Syndrome...really funny anime!!

lol...FLCL is what happens when you spend too much time making one of the best anime series ever created (Evangelion), and burnt out too many brain cells in the process

The official name is Furi Kuri... Fooly Cooly was an attempt at translation..

And Zero, the given meaning in the show was "Fliptonic Cliptonic Weber Syndrome"
