Has any one heard about the new ghost in the shell movie?

Was wonderin if any one heard bout the new ghost in the shell movie innocense. i see a preview of it. it is de sequel to de original movie. it goin an real chain up ppll head.

Plus in starting this thread you could have like compared the original and stuff you know....

well it is due out sometime early this year , i havent been up to date with anime for a little while so i'm not sure if it will be based on the GITS2 manga. So far all i saw was a small synopsis.

Batou is a living doll.

sounds cool. but the manga is a different arc from SAC, right?
so.... this movie assumes the first movie happened
and SAC assumes the 1st movie never happened
and the manga assumes..... bill gates as the master of the universe?

Stand Alone Complex was a prequel wasn't it ?

the ghost in the shell a stand alone complex is a 2 season anime series each with 26 episodes which follow a story of what happened in the movie never actually happened
the upcoming movie is suppose to be a sequel to the movie the movie is due to release in japan in March  2004
as for the manga i have not been following that so i have no idea where that goes

hehe...i know ya'll will laugh at me....but hear this....i've never seen the Ghost in the Shell movie and i;ve had it for about over a year....and i own over 400 anime cds....
