Now after playing the demo extensively, i have come to one conclusion, this game ROCKS!! The controls were a little sticky, but i'll leave that to the fact that its a demo. The previous ssx games let you do things through menus, but this one lets you do cruse around looking for things to do. As you are working your way down the mountain side you'll stumblw onto sone interesting side "quests" , time trials and what not, this format was borowed from Downhill Demolition.
Unlike previous ssx games, bad landings do not forfiet the trick you attempted, you only lose the trick if you fall and buss your ass. In this version you just loose some of the bonus, so you wont cry when you see the million points go red and count down.
Another thing that impressed me was the fall sound effects, if you fall in soft snow there is a slushing sund, if you hit rock there is a crunch, and the folks yelp in pain.
As with the previous ssx titles, there is the trick meter, every trick you do boosts the bar, or swirly thing on the right. when its powered up you get to execute som madd madd trick. Oh and you'd want to try to score the most points you can, they translate to cash, and that translates to cool stuff you can buy.
I personally like this game, but if you are not a fan of the Tony Hawk type extreme games, then this may not be the title for you to buy. If it is your bag, well, enjoy the alps my friend, it looks like tis gonna be a wold icey ride.

Ok 2 things i forgot to say, there is a killer soundtrack, lota of techno and alt rock, such as red hot chili pepers, and if you should listen to the d.j., he'll give you hints as to when you should do tricks.

oh and if the pich dont come up in the prev post, then you can spy some of them here

isnt there a new 1080 out or coming out??

i played tricky 2 but wasnt really impressed

especially witht he scoring system.

things that yu would get 500 points for the most in thawk, yu would get 5000 and 10 000 and stuff

and all i had to do to make absolutely insane scores were some mediocre thawk combos.

but the grafix are cool and the snow experience is still intriguing

I have it.  I did a review on it on www.gamefaqs.com, was going to post it here and didn't bother.

I write gameguides, FAQs as well as reviews and for the most part, this game is AWESOME.

The graphics and gameplay suit each other well.  It's a bit of an adjustment for T.H.U.G. in terms of control but it's not much an issue.

My favourite tricks would have to be the Guillotine and the SSXorcist.  The latter because of the cool name.

I have several accounts on GameFAQs.  My most recent and active one is DarkManX.  That review though was written under that I think was stalebread.
