DMC 2 was a huge disappointment, with everything that was expected of it. Everything was made a whole lot simpler, but part of the enjoyment of the original was the cutarse you would get in the first place.
Also, all of the combos that defined Dante as a badass were taken away.
I'm glad they left behind the Stinger from Alastor, but for goodness sake, the multiple stab? That's what made combos fun in the first place! :hymc:
Not to mention the fact that the last boss for Lucia is one of the most sniveling and pathetic characters I have ever seen.
They replaced a badass like Mundus with THIS crack-addict?
Get real.
In short, DMC2 disappointed a LOT of people. It could never hope to be the legend of gaming that the first one was. If a game was to get my vote for most disappointing sequel, it would be...well, a tie, because I was EQUALLY disappointed with the much anticipated Mega Man X7 as well.
I say if you make a game as hyped up as this, then please!
Make it a little more than THREE DAYS LONG!
