Author Topic: Leave the old forum as read-only for a while (Read 4211 times)

As the heading says, don't just nuke the old forum. Leave it up as read only for a while. That way, if we have to swipe stuff from the old forum for transplantation in the new forum, we won't have to dig through backups.

Yes that would help immensly, especially for stickies etc...I've had that experience twice before with another board...the first time we just zapped the old one...and then realised...oh no...we need the stickies etc...too late too late shall be the cry
