Time killers was utter rott... i mean back in the day, it mighta be real mad, but now.....

Ne wayz, on the topic of arcades, there is one i am very proud to say i visit frequently. Knight Raiders (i doh know if it renamed now). Knight Raiders is located by the San Juan taxi stand in town, opposite Express house. All games work properly, lots of competition (i have to say, they have some of THE best arcade players in Trinidad). It doh have a Soul Caliber 2 fellas... but it have everthing else u normally play.... and XVSF on the big screen!

Anyone played the Double Dragon arcade game? I loved that for some reason.

i always thought that the best fighter was KOF98 the game ranks as the most balanced game of all time. the AI is great no too cheap not to repetitive. the players are also balance so that getting stuck with a random player doest mean instant death.

if there is any other game that comes close to that is killer instinct one. a master piece of hand eye co-ordination. its the game that redifined the term combo and influenced how combinations are done.

i dont know about these 3hits you dead games like tekken and soul balde (soul calibur). to me those games are the real button smashers. ive seen kiddies bash away at knobs and kill big had back players who playing all the time. the only thing is that they do look good.

Vinion, you obviously haven't seen anyone with skill play soul calibur. Button masherz die all the time against any player worth his salt. Jus cause they play all the time does not mean that the person is any good. Anyone could tell you that.

Time Killers was more balanced and fun than any other game ever created.

And Mantazz could kick Ryu's ass any day of the week.

KOF 99 ? As sweet as that game was it was far from balanced , it had everything from floating bugs to cheese infinites

ok ninja , the floating bug has been around since kof 97 .when the move is performed your character will appear to be floating above the ground. Not all characters can do this , in KOF 99 if i remember correctly bao and mary had these bugs. When these are performed on an opponent the character can easily do infinite , most of the time just by pressing one button repeatedly. Also certain characters had the ability to do some insane damage to other characters. EG Leona could drain 90% of life from Ryo with just ONE SDM . Anyways you can try a floating bug in KOF 98 to see what i mean , this is by far the easiest floating bug ever. Firstly in practice choose Shermie in advanced mode and make your opponent Goro Daimon. Corner him and perform her HCB x2 + P as the move is being performed immediately start tapping whatever button you have set as A , it will chain into a cheesy 35hit combo (or less depending on how fast you tap) after 35 hits or so Goro will dizzy. You will notice while doing this that Shermie appears to be standing on Goro's toes. This is just an example of a floating bug. In KOF 99 Bao would remain in midair . Hope this clears it up for you. yeah dread... killer instinct was real bad too... all the ultra combos an crap.... thunder was my fav char..... next to orchid, for sum strange reason... i wonder why.....

Killer Instinct was a game that had promise. But if you have seen some of the stuff I have done in that, i.e. Broken ultras, 1000hit ultras, infinite resets and some Spinal glitches, you would realize the Rare should not be given contracts to do fighting games anytime soon.
