The site looks decent. Flash-y.

It's strange...I'm seldom one of those purists who shuns new stories that branch from established mythos, but something about this movie bothers me.

Yuh mean tuh say after all my dozens of hours of playing, levelling up, emotional trauma over Aeris' death (murder) and general plot-driving, Sephiroth is still alive?

I was satisfied with the ending of FF7...this movie just looks like a cash cow that will rape the story.

But that's just my opinion...and an early one at that. Please don't flame me.

We not going to flame yuh Kayode. It just that it have some hardcore FF7 men who just couldn't live with the fact that they not going to see their polygonal hero Cloud fight again. And others just found the person named Sephiroth too good to destroy. So after their supposed last fight in FF7 they complain to Squaresoft AND BAMM!! The people got what they wanted. A whole new story. A whole new battle. Except this time, Cloud is not made up Polygons..... Sephiroth's sword looks real.....and the backgrounds don't remind you of Paper Mario's animation

There is speculation that the tall white hiar guy in advent children is not sephiroth but a clone of the fallen one winged angel.
Remember in FVII they were producing clones of Jenova (SP?). Rumors say that the "new" Spephiroth is another clone.
The action scenes so far are shaping up nicely. I'm buying this whether or not it comes out in English. I prefer sub-titles anyway. Japanese voice acting sounds better than english IMO.

Thanks for the repitition but there's acloud in FF8 {but he's a GF.} maybe that helps the plot along the way maybe he still lives but as a GF

Sephiroth is hands down the most popular villian ever conceived for a video game.
Not a chance Square would not bring him back.
