yea ppl me again....i wanna know about this board MSI 6738 Board

i know wha the board has on it....wha i wanna know is if it is a good board..how reliable....life expectantcy an tha sorta stuff...i cant tell those things by jus lookin at the specs

an the price i gettin it for is $470.00

so tell me wha uall think an know...an compare it to the biostar board i was askin about

i would prefer a biostar board over msi. for some strange reason i dont like msi. probably is cause u find msi mobos on all dem cheep computer dat does die after a year of continuous use

i doubt you would find anyone with direct experience of this board.
as with half of the questions asked here, you would probably be better off looking it up in google.

i would also strongly recommend you spend the extra and get a asus a7n8x-x
the mobo is the backbone if your system, if you spend on anything make sure your mobo is good.
it is worth spending around $1000 at least.

I believe I gave you pretty much the same advice that Flippant has now given you...get a quality mobo!

The "-X" version of Asus mobos are the "value" versions, they typically come with less USB ports (4 instead of 6 for instance) or no FireWire ports or something of the sort. However, they are usually significantly cheaper than their non-X brothers...
