hmmm..true dat.maybe they overdoing themselves, cuz they promising a whole lot of things, like the WINFs which would need directories etc. i run it, it ok for alpha but way too buggy to do anything much like games...i sticking with server 2k3 yes

hmmm...microsoft was giving away free trial server on their site a few months ago.i think its still up.all you need to do is crack he @ss...full unlimited business.

It always happens with every windows, how they say it so hot up and could do all this stuff blah blah blah, but they does be crap wen it come out, jus give it time and ppl go find all d faults in this version and exploit them and we go hadda dl a set of patches to fix dem.

This isn't due out till 2005, perhaps even 2006...

As for it idling and taking up 80% cpu usage...it's not even beta stage yet...can't make any judgements on it whatsoever. Personally, I liked what I saw. Can't wait to upgrade to it

a beta version is out.u can get it on warez sites but i say go for red hat 10.BAD MAN SOFTWARE

i have used 2003 (not at home) but its like xp without all the colours and includes server aps like active directory etc. in any case the beta one that's out is a pile of crap. is like every 2 days de server up (or less) yuh does have tuh kill an reload explorer. it does start tuh eat up cpu an memory. but i still wouldnt mind using 2003 wen it oficially comes out AND when a service pack is available.

i'm still stick with redhat and what to do. i'm just fooling around at the moment. cant even get the blasted sound card drives, so i cant listen to no music while eXPerimenting
