HOW TO CAPTURE


The Dazzle is a piece of equipment that allows you to capture video and record it onto a computer.
Paired with some Y-Splitters (Found at any radioshack for < $3) Means you broadcast your xbox/ps3 feed onto your computer and tv. Sites like blogtv (pretty much anything that can read a webcam) takes the feed from the Dazzle as webcam, and broadcasts it as though it was a webcam, meaning, live halo streaming."

i find this kinda kool yuh know having clan matches and havin ppl be able to watch a LIVE stream from your PoV.
nice for wen allya havin SFIV matches an ppl cud jus watch d matches on they comps live.
watched a H3 LAN las nite an it was actually quite good.

it's a damn good idea.

We've been doing this aeons ago with TV cards but anything to stream line/simplify the process and popularize it, is definitely worth promoting.

These fellas maybe unto something here, lol, men talking, chatting and interacting while the sweat going on via the website. A bit hardcore, but it has potential.

yea hoss ah watch da Halo 3 LAN las nite an was like waaay, rel entertaining wit ppl ole talkin while sweat goin on an in between rounds d fellas who was sweatin wudda pop in an join d chat while d nex match loadin up. right now ah hook on da site ah watch ah SFIV sweat, and Gears 2 one an both were boss even watch da SAME CoD4 one u hav up dey lol.
Gonna definitely give this a try month end once ah get everything set up dun hav meh dazzle coming in, channel setup already an ting.

hmm cool site indeed. Xfire been trying this very thing with their broadcast feature, but it's not well advertised, prolly as it's in Beta i think. But i definitely like seeing live gameplay. +1 for technology...lol

On a somewhat unrelated note I was wondering.
There was a beta service that closed down a few months back called Yahoo Live, you could go into a browser based chatroom and everyone could use their webcams without the need to download any software. Anyone know of a similar service that allows people to join a chat room in their web browser with video chat?
